🚨 FRE4KNC 🚨

We’re very happy to announce the headliner for our upcoming community event on the 29th of August:

@fre4knc

A true veteran of the scene, Fre4knc was one of the very first artists to ever perform at our events and has remained one of our all-time favourite producers.

With roots going all the way back to the early 2000s, Fre4knc has been active in drum & bass for over 25 years. His sound is unmistakable: dark, deep and techy, combining intricate percussion, rolling grooves and heavyweight basslines built for the dancefloor.

Over the years, his productions have landed on some of the most respected labels in the scene, including Critical Music, Dispatch Recordings, Flexout Audio and Samurai Music. His catalogue spans collaborations with Amoss and Mindmapper, as well as remixes for artists such as Noisia, Enei and Bredren.

Fre4knc will be taking the decks for an extended 90-minute set, the only solo act of the night. He’ll be diving deep into his signature sound and taking us on a journey through some of his favourite sounds and influences from across the genre.

I keep hearing I should do more with social media, so here’s a Compaq Contura Aero 4/25 from the early 1990s. It was one of the lightest laptops of its time and apparently still has excellent balance. I’m very proud I managed to get it to stand like this without destroying a piece of computer history. 😎😇

I keep hearing I should do more with social media, so here's a very hygienic computer mouse for dentists and hospitals, with a very large German ringel-s keycap on top. Balancing was very hard as the mouse has a very smooth surface. I'm very proud I managed to get the keycap on top 😎😇

My bike brake is broken.
Not a little broken. Emotionally broken.

Instead of fixing it like a normal person, I decided:
this is now a music sample. You’re welcome.
