A belated post, but our first time prowling around the Royal Adelaide Show was a freakin’ blast!!! 😻

Nine days of early mornings, late nights and definitely not enough sleep. Hand cramps from hand-cutting countless potatoes. Tossing up between washing our beef tallow-soaked clothes or just burning them. Overstimulation from being across from the carnival games. A few technical difficulties and a whole lot of running around. Not exactly chic, glamorous or aesthetic, but my goodness, the chaos was so much fun, and all the heart-warming feedback made it so worth it.

The Show was always one of my favourite memories as a kid, so I wanted to pay tribute to it by creating a nostalgic menu with the team: Chicken shop, inspired by the classic chicken, chips and gravy order from your local corner store. Meat lovers, inspired by the Aussie favourite pizza, one that I’ve had on many seedy Sundays. Bacon cheese, inspired by the humble potato bake, AKA the best homemade side dish. And classic cheese, which has been on our menu since day one and is now a staple.

Big love to the best team, who I get to call my friends, to everyone who has supported us and came by for some fries, to @royaladelaideshow for letting us in to run amok, and to our big sister @ganggang.world for showing us the ropes and lending us their shipping container during these humble beginnings. Next stop… we’ll tell you very soon.

Also, I swear this isn’t a marketing ploy, but everyone’s skin was glowing by the end. Attributing it to all the beef tallow lingering in the air x by @freakyfriesworld

Follow the yellow brick ro… oh wait, we mean follow your heart. It’s yearning for fries.

Catting around at the @royaladelaideshow until Sunday 😽 by @freakyfriesworld

Our freaky felines absolutely cooked with this lineup of flavours for @royaladelaideshow

Pulling inspiration from classic Aussie nostalgic flavours. You know, like bacon and French onion potato bake. Or corner store chicken and gravy. And even meat lovers pizza with cheesy crust. MEOWWW.

Plus we’ve brought back our Cacio Pepe, which is now a staple on our menu (classic cheese) and also just salted fries if you’re vanilla.

Still freshly hand-cut and cooked in beef tallow, just how fries should be. Frying at the showgrounds ‘til this Sunday xx by @freakyfriesworld

THANK YOU WOMAD 😻

Three new Asian-inspired flavours making their debut. Arm veins popping from hand-cutting potatoes. A film of beef tallow moisturising our skin. A birthday celebrated very much against her will. And of course, International Women’s Day with our team of absolute queens <3 !!! by @freakyfriesworld
