@fred.bk - Martino Manor takes you from the attic all the way to the basement, then out into a maze. The bed sheets room got me the worst. You can’t tell which sheets are props and which ones are real people until one of them moves.

Open through Halloween.

@fred.bk - One of the scariest haunted parks near Toronto is in Kitchener 😱

Bingemans ScreamPark is one continuous maze through six haunted zones, including the Crypt of Terror, The Slaughter Shed, and The Twisted Woods. Halfway through there’s the Blood Bar, with food, themed drinks, and actors still coming at you while you eat.

New this year: a Fast Pass to skip the line, plus a camping package with the Fast Pass included if you want to make a night of it.

Running nightly until October 31, starting at 7 PM. Not recommended for anyone under 12.

@fred.bk - Every October, Casa Loma turns into a 2 km haunted walk through the gardens, underground tunnels and parts of the castle that are rarely open to the public.

Live actors, special effects, and halfway through you step out into a bar with a DJ before heading back into the dark. The night ends with a 3D projection show lit across the whole castle.

@fred.bk - Three hours north of Toronto, there’s a field of giant concrete screaming heads and a castle in the middle of it. Peter Camani started building it by hand around 1981, and he’s still adding to it. Got to meet him, and it made the drive worth it.

@fred.bk - Halloween Haunt 2026 is back at Canada’s Wonderland. The Conjuring is the one to do this year, then six haunted mazes, seven scare zones, and the rides running in the dark. Runs select nights until Nov 1.

Heads up: no costumes after 6pm, 13+ recommended, and The Conjuring and the mazes are separate tickets.
