Our penultimate business of the week on this sunny Thursday is @fredandbettysoaps_ , founded by Ruth Coote back in December 2019 🫧

Ruth has proudly cut down her day job hours to give her more time to focus on her venture as it continues to grow almost seven years on from its launch. What began as eight products has now increased to more than 60 👏

Ruth’s products are all vegan, natural and handmade in small batches, and include soaps, body butters, lip balms, deodorants, beard oil, shaving soaps, bath salts, pillow sprays, shower steamers, insect repellent balm and foot balm.

The business’ two new soaps are flavoured with cedarwood and tea tree, and sweet orange and black pepper – and Ruth looks forward to releasing her Christmas range on November 1. This is flavoured with sweet orange and cinnamon, and coloured with paprika and ground coffee.

Her first Christmas event is at @tscoffeepitsford on November 1, followed by @wicksteedpark, @dustonvillagebakery, @delapreabbey, @kelmarshhall and it is tradition that Ruth ends the year with a final market at @friendsofbrixworthlibrary on December 5🎄

Gift boxes prove particularly popular at this time of year as customers can work with Ruth once she knows the budget and what the recipient likes. She proudly adds her personal touch to create something truly unique.
