COWTLD
I first met illusion hills in June of 2021. I became friends with Jay in an old Jean Dawson Discord server and became introduced to their music through him, where he first played the pilot music video for me. beforetheworldends came out later that August and I fell in love with them, and when weirdo dropped in November, I was able to cover it for Sheesh, where I had just began writing. I got to meet the other members through this, texting with MJ from time to time and dming others on instagram.

I kept in touch with Jay and a couple months after the article, I offered to do PR for the group, and with no music industry experience whatsoever they let me help out. For over two months I communicated almost solely with Jay and MJ as we built towards the release of genesis, gradually taking on more and more responsibility. It wasn’t until a week before genesis that I got added to the IH group chat, but two days after that they made me official manager. 6 months, three singles, one incredible trip out to LA to meet you all, and over 100K streams later, including our two best performing tracks, we released come outside when the lights dim. While I’ve only been along for half the journey, working with each and every one of you every day has made it the best experience of my life. This is just the start and I can’t wait to watch all of you grow even more. I love you all @padaaaaaaaaaa @jayastrro @warpmj @_sai_2001_ @kymesina @alvssa.g @kimyunsuuu @asbestossalad

To everyone else involved in the process EP, big or small, I am forever grateful for you.
@jake_mgmt - Love you Jake, as both a mentor to me and project manager at @spartadistribution
@ben.icio - I probably would have been fired a month into working with IH without your guidance during the genesis release
@eiicarg - You contributed so much to IH although only in a short time, and even more to my life as a friend over the last year since I first met you.
And to everyone else involved in the process, big or small:
