We are now in the 1% club🏃🏻‍♂️💨🏅

Completing a marathon was one goal I wanted to accomplish this year.

At first, I didn’t quite think I was ready to do full marathon after coming back from my Japan/South Korea trip and opted to do the half marathon instead. However, I knew leading up to the race that I could do a half marathon but it wouldn’t satisfy my main goal.

I felt like I was half assing fulfilling my goal if I did the half marathon so I took the leap and signed up for the full marathon. It was no going back after that point.

I knew the last 10km-12km was going to be a battle going into this race so I was mentally and physically ready to endure whatever pain lied ahead. But no matter how painful it was, I was going to finish this race. It was non-negotiable.

Today, I completed my first marathon and became a marathoner💪🏻

I’m also grateful with all the support from everyone! I couldn’t have done it without you and you know who you are!🫶🏼 taken in Downtown Toronto by @freddyyyyy
