For the past year, the Afrofuturism Media Lab has been a space where young people at Pro-Vision Academy have used music, media, and storytelling to imagine new possibilities for themselves and their communities.

Presented through a powerful partnership between Kinetic Vibez, LOUPZ, Pro-Vision Academy, AOC Outreach Services, Flightbulb and US Dream Academy, the lab goes beyond creativity. Every participating student has access to a therapist, and families receive additional support services, ensuring that healing, wellness, and artistic expression work hand in hand.

Together, we’re building a future where young people are seen, supported, and empowered to tell their stories.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey over the last year. We’re excited for what’s next.

Through the ITD Professional Fellows experience, we didn’t just observe challenges and opportunities we engaged with them, learned from them, and began building solutions together.
