Hi, my friends,

I will be showing my photographs from June 3rd to June 7th at @photofusionuk , together with five other talented photographers. Please come and have a look if you are available.

I selected some photos for this exhibition from my ongoing project. These photographs capture a three-year journey of friendship between me and Noah, the first friend I made after arriving in London. Although Noah has since left UK in pursuit of his happiness and these photographs can’t tell the entire story about Noah and me, they are fragments of our shared memories, some calm, some joyful, and others tinged with melancholy. They are like musical notes, existing independently but with the power to come together and form a unique composition.

I printed these photos in the colour darkroom recently. I’ve always been fascinated by darkroom printing and the slow, reflective process of revisiting memories captured on film. Each print is an intimate exploration of my own personal palette of memory, brought to life through the repetitive and meditative steps of printing. by @frederickfengo
