It is with profound sadness that the Vee Arnis Jujitsu School of Self Defense and the entire Vee Arnis Jujitsu Family mourn the passing of our dear friend and brother, Dougie “Sifu” Pierre, who passed away in Pattaya, Thailand, after succumbing to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Dougie was more than a martial artist—he was a dedicated instructor, a loyal friend, and a valued member of our Vee Arnis Jujitsu family. His passion for the arts, commitment to helping others, and warm spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He embodied the values of respect, perseverance, and service that define our martial arts tradition.
On behalf of the Vee Arnis Jujitsu School of Self Defense, I extend my deepest condolences to Dougie’s family, friends, students, and loved ones during this difficult time. Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy will continue through the many lives he influenced and inspired.
May we all remember Dougie with gratitude, honor his memory through our actions, and keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.
Rest in peace, Sifu Dougie. You will forever remain a part of our Vee Arnis Jujitsu Family.
