A measly $2 from everyone who sees this will go a long way! Please, the health of Dale’s lawn (and his emotional stability) depends on it.

Head over to Seed&Spark (link in bio) and donate a quick $2, and check out the incentives for higher donations while you’re at it! by @fredgalison

What stuck with me from a writing class was the lesson on Anne Lamott’s theory of the “shitty first draft,” from her book Bird by Bird. In order to get to good stuff, one has to allow whatever comes before.

When I dug up my early draft of “The Lawn” from my 2023 email to make sure that I still had it for the fundraiser incentive, I read it for the first time in about three years. These are the faces I actually made.

Already two supporters have selected the “Early First Draft” incentive on our Seed & Spark campaign for “The Lawn.”

I wanted to edit it. Take out lines. Take out the sonnet monologues 💀, but I realized that would be cheating, so I’m leaving all the 💩 in the pot.

“The Lawn - Early Draft” is a one-act play about a bickering couple dealing with a home invasion. If you are interested in the study of coprolite, you can read “The Lawn - Early Draft” in all its feculence by visiting the link in my bio.

All proceeds go to helping tell Dale’s story, and you get to make fun of me.

The HOA has been made aware of a neighborhood disturbance…

To maintain the serene environment here at Glendale Residences we kindly ask that residents alert the HOA if these characters are seen again.

Consider visiting the Seed and Spark linked in our bio to file a complaint and to support us in protecting our community from suspicious activity. The HOA appreciates you greatly.

Salt Lake’s ecosystem depends on something most of us walk right past every day. 🌿🐝 SLC Comb is a short documentary exploring the bees that keep our world alive and why we can’t keep taking them for granted.

This wonderful short documentary was directed by @hydrignis and is finally available to watch now on our YouTube channel! Link in bio. taken in Salt Lake City, Utah by @fredgalison

After 5yrs of rejections, I got a short story out there.

“The Pinky” is about a waste treatment plant worker who finds an infant’s finger in the sewage and searches for the killer.

You can read it in @dogwatermagazine issue no. 2: https://www.flipsnack.com/A9A756ED75E/dog-water-magazine-issue-2/full-view.html by @fredgalison
