Yesterday I had the honor of playing at Court Street Baptist Church, one of my favorite churches in the city.

As a kid, I loved when my home church, Spring Hill Baptist, would come perform there. The natural reverb in that sanctuary always made my snare sound like I was in the studio.

Being back felt like reliving a childhood memory, maybe the acoustics are even better now. Grateful they let me use their kit.

Of course, I never leave home without my #istanbulmehmet cymbals. 🥁 taken in Court Street Baptist Church by @fredjdrums

Happy 18th Anniversary to the love of my life!

They say 18 marks the age when society considers you “full-grown,” but we’ve been proving that for 18 beautiful years. Just like André 3000 said, “You say it’s puppy love, we say it’s full-grown.”

From the moment we started this journey, our love has only grown stronger, deeper, and more meaningful. Through every challenge and triumph, you’ve been my partner, my best friend, and my greatest blessing.

Here’s to 18 years of love, laughter, and memories—and to the many more ahead. I love you now and always!
