We’re making more room! If you haven’t felt it in the room since SFA started classes last month, we have pushed the limits of our parking lot, our Worship Center seating, and our Nursery areas on Sunday Mornings. Over the last 4 years, we’ve continued to experience this type of growth at Fredonia Hill – so we’re excited to make the move in October to add a second service! The heart behind this change is to model the character of Jesus. Throughout the New Testament, we see Jesus going out of his way to make space for people to experience His presence. NEW SERVICE BEGINS NEXT SUNDAY: OCTOBER 4TH Both services will be identical in structure and content. Our first service will begin at 8:30 AM, and our second service will begin at 11:00 AM. NextGen spaces will open for check-in 15 minutes before each service. In between our two services, we will meet for Sunday School from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. This Sunday, we’ll still meet at 9:30 AM for Sunday School & 11:00 AM for Baptism Sunday & SFA Family Day. We hope to see you there as we celebrate the ordinance of baptism and hear stories of life change made possible through Jesus Christ! taken in Fredonia Hill Baptist Church by @fredoniahill_nac

Looking for a church in Nacogdoches? We’d love to meet you! Fredonia Hill exists to be a church where all people can discover and follow Jesus right where they are and wherever they are sent. Everything we do together is filtered through connecting people first to God and then to each other, being trained and equipped as apprentices to Jesus, and being sent back out into our community and spheres of influence. Because of that, our church looks a lot like Nacogdoches. We gather together to worship God from all walks of life – as families and professionals, empty nesters, college students, native Spanish speakers, weekend visitors, and neighbors. More than just Sunday gatherings, we do life together, share meals together, show up for each other, and open God’s Word alongside each other as we seek to apprentice under Jesus. Whether it‘s through a Community Group meeting or a Wednesday Night Study, the goal is that we would begin to think like Jesus, live like Jesus, and go like Jesus. We love Nac, we love the campus of SFA, and we love the Greater East Texas area. Since 1934, we’ve been investing in and developing leaders in our city and region. We also have a strong mission-sending background, and our heart to train and send apprentices both locally and internationally remains true to this day. We’d love to invite you to come and see what family at Fredonia Hill is all about. Join us on Sunday mornings at 1711 South Street – we’ll have a seat and a coffee waiting for you! taken in Nacogdoches, Texas by @fredoniahill_nac

ROMANS 6:4 “We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” What a special Baptism Sunday! It’s always a joy to celebrate how God has graciously been at work in each personal testimony we hear during baptisms. Each story is unique, yet each story points to the same exact truth – that God is worthy of our worship and our lives, and that he receives all the glory for being the one to give us new life in Jesus Christ! If you are processing the decision of baptism, we would love to help walk you through that. You can always feel free to shoot us a message here, or call our office to get in touch with someone on our staff team! taken in Fredonia Hill Baptist Church by @fredoniahill_nac

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: Today marks two years of Open Door! It has been such a blessing to meet more of our neighbors and fellow community partners through this ministry. Some of our favorite memories have come from getting to sit across from someone, hear their story, and pray together. We can’t even begin to recount all of the stories of God’s faithfulness we have seen over the past two years – you’ll have to just walk through the bright yellow door one day and see for yourself! To everyone who has served, donated, or prayed for the ministry of Open Door – we can’t say thank you enough! God is so good and receives all the glory for being the one who sustains this ministry & the one who perfectly provides for our neighbors! taken in Nacogdoches, Texas by @fredoniahill_nac

Sunday = our favorite day of the week! Our greatest joys as a church family are the moments we get to gather together to worship God and be encouraged by the truth found in scripture! Our Worship Service starts at 11 AM, with Sunday School kicking us off at 9:30 am. This Sunday, we’ll continue through our new sermon series in 2 Peter. When you arrive, greeters can help you find your way around the building – whether you’re looking for a Sunday School class, a hot cup of coffee, or our kid’s check-in area. For more service details, visit the link in our bio or shoot us a DM! taken in Fredonia Hill Baptist Church by @fredoniahill_nac

More from this year’s Sports & Art Camp! The week was a blast learning about God’s good design for the world and all those who live in it. We also learned about how the rest of creation testifies about God’s glory, and some of our campers met a few surprise friends along the way! (God did create kangaroos, after all!) Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped serve and make last week a reality. We appreciate all that you do so that the next generation of children in Nacogdoches can discover and follow Jesus! taken in Fredonia Hill Baptist Church by @fredoniahill_nac

Sports & Art Camp 2026 is in full swing! 🏀🎶⛺️🌎🎭🎨 We are SO excited to spend the rest of the week playing soccer, learning how to read cooking measurements, and doing other activities that kids love as we share about the God who deeply loves them! This week’s theme is “In the Beginning...” and our memory verse is Psalm 24:1: “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, and all who live in it.” Join us in praying that kids would see the love of God in a new way & hear the truth of the Gospel. Pray that with each activity, campers would walk away with newfound wonder in the magnitude and glory of the Lord our God, who made the world and everything in it! taken in Fredonia Hill Baptist Church by @fredoniahill_nac
