Photo dump time!!

Honestly, no big thoughts this time, which I hope you all don’t mind. I saw a rainbow over the weekend, and it snapped me out of a stupor that I was in.

I’ve been spending more time outside recently, just trying to find my moments of peace before shows. Usually that involves eating my dinners leaning on the side of my car, and that even means showing up to gigs early. An old mentor of mine called this ‘buffer time’ and in my busy life, I’ve come to value having even just a couple of moments to myself before jumping into the fire (usually a stage or rehearsal room somewhere).

Alright, thats it for now. I hope you all are staying warm, and enjoying some good soup!!

Happy Spooky Season everyone!! Hope to see y’all at some of these shows!

Don’t forget to take care of yourselves, even during this busy busy time of year.

Got heavily inspired by watching the @christiansandsjazz trio play Cherokee at the Owl last week. Decided to have my rhythm section try out our own version of the groove they played over the B section.

Quick little gig recap with the band. We had 3 shows in 2 weeks recently, and every single one of them was a blast!! From the Triple Door to Butter Notes and finally at Hidden Hall.

Special shoutout to @carissa.allik and @jamescoffin for subbing in during our Butter Notes show.

Our next show is going to be 11/20 over @cocoalegato supporting the ever wonderful @gracekaste and her band!
