As New York comes alive with spring blossoms and greenery 🌸🌿🌷, our foundation is proud to partner with Free Arts NYC @freeartsnyc in support of our shared mission to advance art equity and empower creativity in the arts.

As part of this collaboration, our foundation is providing one hundred museum passes and three private pre-opening and after-hours tours at the Guggenheim Museum New York for the Free Arts NYC community. These experiences are designed to offer meaningful, inspiring access to world-class art in a setting that encourages curiosity, reflection, and creative expression. By creating space for young people to engage with art in an intimate and enriching way, we hope to spark imagination, build confidence, and reinforce the idea that the arts belong to everyone.

We believe creativity is not a luxury, it’s essential. This collaboration reflects our joint commitment to expanding access, nurturing talent, and shaping a more inclusive future through the arts.

Last week, our Creative Lab program hosted an April Portfolio Building Intensive, and we couldn’t be more proud of our teens!

Over four days, Creative Lab students participated in workshops centered around skill building and professional development:

Throughout the week, our teens:

✏️ Created self-portraits using observation, proportion, and shading with artist @brooks_frederick_art

🖌️ Painted still lifes in acrylic focusing on composition, color, and value with our own @davidpetrak

💬 Shared their work in a supportive critique led by artists @melissajoseph_art & @champaint_papi

🤝 Participated in speed networking with creative professionals from animation, film, fashion, architecture, graphic design, and more- including reps from Titmouse, FLAG Art Foundation, 1100 Architect, and beyond. @julia_nahley, @v.anessa_c.astro, @deflippy_98, @mahdiyyahofficial, @omgmorgancreative, @billburnsstudio, @nikoguardia
