THREE HEARTS PILGRIMAGE 💘❤️‍🔥💓

A group of Baylor students went on the 35-mile pilgrimage to Clear Creek Abbey, a Benedictine monastery in Oklahoma! Praying, chanting, singing, camping, and lifting high our banner we persevered through the grace and for the glory of God alone. We also got prime seating for the 1965 Pontifical High Mass at the end and got to meet Bishop Athanasius Schneider!! Would HIGHLY recommend this pilgrimage experience!

Psalm 137 is the great psalm of exile. The Israelites, far from Jerusalem, sit weeping by the rivers of Babylon, unable to sing the Lord’s song in a strange land. Their lament is the proper posture of the Christian soul, for this world too is not our home; we are pilgrims journeying through a foreign land toward the heavenly Jerusalem. The crosses we bear along our journey become our source of rest and restoration in the life to come, when at last we hear the heavenly chorus at the end of our earthly pilgrimage.

June 😁

1. They set up a new location for my favorite restaurant... right here in Georgia! The spam musubi is sooo good! Definitely worth the road trip.
2. I went to go see the new Spider-Man movie with a good friend, we were both geeking over the animation the entire movie (can't wait for the next!)
3. I took some good friends to their first all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet! Super sketchy bathrooms, really good food
4. A few highlights of some social gatherings, including my best friend Nick getting soaked at his grad party
5. De-lic-ious food all month this month! Made banana bread for the first time in a while as well!
6. Went out to the river quite a few times, it is a treat that I didn't realize I would already be beginning to miss. The birds' songs make for great company this summer!
7. Doing my best to enjoy what is right in front of me, captured a few different moments that I found relaxing to share with you.
8. Said my last goodbyes to my Highschool account.
I've always been the sentimental type so of course I got a little dramatic.
9. It's crazy how much things can change in 6 months, and I am planning to get a lot more done in the 6 more left in the year. I love the people and experiences in my life so much, and am thankful to God for every one of them. by @freebooter_luckless

May!

1. With the school year officially over, I have way more time to myself: still working on self-improvement, but I’ve noticed that in the last 5 months I am far happier and healthier than I was at the beginning of the year
2. The beginning of may was full of exams, but the class of ‘23 pulled through! I would argue this was the best senior prank in the last 4 years (sorry Mr. Henry)
3. I enjoyed a very lovely dinner with my grandpa who flew down for the first time in forever! Food was incredible and the company was even better
4. I also got to dine with my main man Nick and his girl at the Freakin Incan. Mind was BLOWN by the banana soda
5. This month has been full of awesome grad parties to celebrate some of my favorite people! Hope to stay in touch with everybody as we go into college together
6. My own grad party was a blast. I couldn’t have asked for better friends
7. Enjoyed the Chattahoochee River (and harassed a few ducks along the way)
8. Been a while since I’ve had a first, so I went out and did my first hot pot at a place called Shabu Shabu
9. Had an extremely eventful day with these two goons, hopefully one day we will get to go on that hike by @freebooter_luckless

April! 🌷

1. Very proud to see the consistent development in my body and mind. I’m also very much appreciative of the people who have been so vocally supportive of my journey thus far :)
2. I had an opportunity to sit down at the BEST sushi place in all of Atlanta! This is where my parents had their first date and both the previous owner (Ru-San) as well as the current owner Fugita-San have had a constant presence in my childhood. As always, 10/10 sushi! (Not to mention the delicious kanikama salad)
3. Went up to South Carolina to visit Clemson university! The people were extremely nice and the campus was massive.
4. It is with a heavy and humble heart that I say goodbye to the Blessed Trinity theater department with my final performance, Little Shop of Horrors. I have always been a theater kid, and I seek to further pursue voice acting and other media in college. Thank you to those of you who made the experience an environment of positivity and growth.
5. Last visit to UGA
6. To get a feel for what kinds of connections and opportunities were present in Texas and Georgia, I have done extensive research. The Georgia Film Association invited me to attend an event at Georgia State. I had many meaningful conversations with students and alumni on advice on what to do and what they wish they had known going into things.
7. I had a wonderful time at Senior Prom! I didn’t go with a big group or anything, but I actually found myself having a much better time than I did last year!
8. I realized that it may be my last chance to go to Lemonade Days. From being abducted by aliens to chowing down on deep fried oreos it was a great time.
9. I had no idea how much of an impact broadcast would have on me. In few words: I loved every moment of it, and the people that had a presence within it as well. I hope that by passing the torch down to Will Van Zant, this club will continue to shine brightly.
10. Finally, the senior retreat! One last chance to enjoy the company of the people we have gotten to know along these last couple years. Crazy that it is all coming to an end, but every ending is just a new beginning. I know that all of you will continue to chase your potential! by @freebooter_luckless

March!

1. I’m so happy that I started putting in genuine, consistent work on improving my strength since Christmas! I’m a much happier person than I used to be and a big part of that is having this stress relief in my life
2. Now that I’ve gotten into all three Georgia universities that I’ve applied to I figured it was about time I… y’know actually toured the campuses. Starting off with UGA!
3. Had my first mochi donut, and it was worth the hype!
4. I spent the afternoon convincing Mark that the porterhouse is the finest cut of steak money can buy
5. After four years of being a member, it's bittersweet to be saying goodbye to Academic Team. It was a humbling experience that would constantly remind me just how much more there was to learn, and it motivated me to study as hard as I could every day
6. Really pushed my spice tolerance getting an Indian dish at the highest spice they can go. Getting back up there so I can start doing spicy food challenges again
7. Also very happy that I’m beginning to be more out and about with friends and people who genuinely care about me. Very grateful for the people in my life and excited to see what the next month has to offer.
8. Visited a family friend’s restaurant perhaps for the last time since their business isn’t doing well
9. Kairos was a blast! It always makes me tear up to see people I know be so close to God. Incredible experience that I recommend for everybody at BT
10. Had a great time with one of my closest friends. Made a quick stop by the very same broosters we went to around the time we first met each other (I got a cookie dough ice cream)

A little late but… January!!!

Thankful for the life I’ve been given

1) Discovering my new favorite B-dubs after the manager remembered me and hooked us up (he was a fellow Alex)
2) Unknowingly solo at my first time doing broadcasting at a basketball game
3) FINALLY got to check out the new WhatABurger over in Kennesaw (it is far better than In-and-out & Five Guys)
4) Sky ‘cause no matter where we’re at in life we all spent our day under the same sky
5) Tech Week (all the guys got put in dresses)
6) Actual production
7) Visited a Hindi temple (it was nice being the tallest one around haha)
8) Went to Texas to check out Baylor (and receive a massive scholarship)
9) Met up with my childhood bestie
10) Continued working on myself mentally and physically a lot this month. I’m in a much stronger state, and plan to only get better by @freebooter_luckless
