The Porsche IMS Bearing ⚠️ If you drive a 1995–2005 Porsche 911, Boxster, or Cayman, the IMS (Intermediate Shaft) bearing is a critical maintenance item. The factory bearing is prone to catastrophic failure—if it gives out, your engine can skip timing and completely grenade itself.
