3 places are currently being divided further by border wall construction. Being divided can be called “Ambos”. Ambos American / Mexican.
.
1. Citizens in the ghost town of “Lochiel” on both sides of Mexican / American border are protesting the construction of the border wall by camping out in the old growth cottonwood trees. Trees benefit from a restored watershed. Watershed is depleting mainly from non-native farming practices. This area is the iconic largest “cottonwood bosque” in the country. We are cottonwoods land.
.
2. Near the town of Sonoyta, Arizona / Mexico in organ pipe national monument this admin wants to develop the border wall near a water spring pond “Quitobaquito” with native animals that live in it.
.
3. Bend Bend, Texas. This admin is scaring a national monument by developing the border wall near waterways and box canyon cliffs.

Have always been a big fan of detail in Art, tight line work and filling up empty space. It’s a refreshing balance to be painting outside and then drawing inside at coffee shops or at home. Would like to give a huge shout out to the Respiro art crew. More to come.
