Freelux didn’t start with a blueprint. It started with a need.A need for community.A need for truth.A need for spaces where we could show up fully and still be held with care. What began as a vision has grown into movement rooted in access, advocacy, and love for our people. From conversations to campaigns, from outreach to impact; every step has been intentional. And we’re just getting started. This is our story. This is Freelux. 🖤✨ by @freeluxproject

As Zero HIV Stigma Day comes to a close, we highlight this moment from @askgoody at The North Texas Stigma Reduction Summit that gives a cut and dry reason why HIV Stigma doesn’t serve us or our communities. Everyone can be impacted by HIV. We remain committed to a Stigma Free World and a world with ZERO new diagnoses, and where everyone living with HIV is undetectable. #zerohivstigmaday #hivprevention #hivawareness #poz by @freeluxproject

DALLAS, TX: Stories have the power to challenge stigma, create connection, and remind us that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. The Arlington crew was honored to participate as a panelist and sponsor at the North Texas Stigma Reduction Summit, hosted by The Free Lux Project. Through United to Zero, the summit highlighted storytelling as an act of resistance and healing, creating a space where women of color could share their experiences, feel recognized, and celebrate the strength within their communities. At CAN, our patients are the HEART of everything we do. We are grateful for opportunities like this to listen, learn, and stand alongside the communities we serve as we continue working toward a future where stigma no longer stands in the way of care.#UnitedToZero #ZeroHIVStigmaDay #NorthTexasStigmaReductionSummit #FreeLuxProject #CANarlington by @freeluxproject

As someone boldly, proudly thriving with HIV it’s a privilege to use my expertise and skills to support this kind of community work. #UnitedtoZero #ZeroHIVstigmaday by @freeluxproject

I was supposed to be in New York City this morning for the Ebony Cookout and then fly back home Sunday to handle business. When I was invited to participate in The FREELUX Project's Stigma Reduction Summit, I initially had to decline because of it, and I knew our ballroom community had incredible leaders ready to speak on how Ballroom serves as a catalyst for health equity. Then the unexpected happened. Because of the weather, the cookout and mini ball were moved to Sunday. Suddenly, I had the opportunity to show up to support Deondre, Nathaniel Holley, The Freelux Project, and the amazing ballroom leaders serving on the panel. After working an overnight shift, I got up, showed up, and simply came to support.Then... they completely gagged me.They called my name and presented me with The Community Champion Award. 🤯😢❤️Y'all... I cried. These are the moments that hit differently.Transitioning after 21 years in the military has not always been easy. There have been moments of uncertainty, sacrifice, and wondering if the work I pour into people truly matters. So to be recognized, not because I asked for it, but because someone saw the work I've been doing when nobody was watching.... oh my, it means more than I can put into words. This award isn't just for me. It's a reminder that purpose never goes unnoticed.Nathaniel L. Holley, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your leadership, your vision, and your belief in our community inspire so many of us. Your kindness today is something I'll never forget.Deondre B. Moore, I see you out there doing the work every single day. Thank you for your commitment and your heart. I love you both, and I truly believe in the vision. I am of service.I believe we heal ourselves. I believe we are powerful together. I believe Ballroom is more than a culture, it's family, it's advocacy, it's health, it's love, and it's community. They say who you are is what you do when no one is looking.Today reminded me... somebody was looking. And for that, I am deeply humbled, incredibly grateful, and beyond honored.Thank you. 🙏🏾❤️🥹🏆#TOCFoundation #thefreeluxproject #community #fyp #reels by @freeluxproject
