Lately, God has been gently correcting something in me.As creatives, leaders, and entrepreneurs, it’s easy to believe our value is tied to staying relevant—to being original, visible, and one step ahead.I’ve felt that temptation. Not because I wanted attention. But because, if I’m honest, there have been moments when I wanted to prove that what I carried mattered. The Holy Spirit has been reminding me that significance isn’t something I have to prove. It’s something I’m called to steward.Scripture tells us to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” I’ve realized that every time I become preoccupied with what everyone else is doing—who’s ahead, who’s watching, who’s imitating, who’s receiving the recognition—I slowly take my eyes off the One who gave me the assignment in the first place. My calling isn’t to chase relevance. It’s to remain close enough to Christ that my life faithfully reflects Him. I don’t write because I have something new to say. I write because I want to faithfully echo what the Holy Spirit is teaching me in this season, trusting that the unchanging Gospel can be seen through every corner of life—our work, our creativity, our leadership, our relationships, and even our struggles. If my words resonate, I pray you’re encouraged to do this:.“Let your eyes look directly forward... do not turn to the right or to the left.” — Proverbs 4:25–27This reflection became today’s essay on Substack. The link is in my bio if you’d like to read the full piece.May we be people who stay faithful to our assignments.#freelyc #kingdomculture #resonance by @freely_c

Before I ever called myself a Creative Director... Before I built brands... Before I designed experiences...I fell in love with fashion. Not because I loved trends. But because I loved what clothing could communicate without saying a word.I’ve always believed what we wear tells a story. It reveals what we value, what we believe, and sometimes even who we’re still becoming. Over the years, my understanding of style has changed. I used to think creativity meant having more options. Now I believe some of the most beautiful creativity is born from reverence. As I’ve grown in my relationship with Christ, I’ve realized that modesty isn’t the absence of style—it’s the presence of wisdom. It doesn’t silence creativity. It refines it.It challenges me to ask a different question every time I get dressed:Does what I’m wearing simply reflect culture... or does it reflect Christ at work within me?I don’t believe fashion and faith are at odds.I believe fashion, like every creative gift, was always meant to glorify the Creator.Maybe true style isn’t about chasing what’s new.Maybe it’s about faithfully reflecting the One who is making us new.Check out my new substance post and if you become a subscriber, your donation thoughtfully goes toward the relaunch of my brand @perfectpineapplewraps!For His glory, through my story. 🍍#fashion #modestfashıon #freelyc #style by @freely_c

I’m learning more and more, as the years go by, that becoming isn’t the reward for achievement; it’s the fruit of sanctification. For the longest time, I thought I was waiting on God.Now I understand God was patiently waiting on me.Not to become more talented. Not to become more productive. But to be surrendered. In everything.Over the past 3 years He’s been exposing how quietly hustle culture shaped the way I measured my worth. I found myself asking questions like...“Am I creating enough?”“Am I doing enough?”“Am I falling behind?”The hard part wasn’t realizing I had those thoughts. The hard part was realizing they weren’t coming from God.Somewhere along the way, I had confused productivity with purpose and visibility with value. The Holy Spirit has been gently reminding me that He never asked me to prove my worth. He asked me to follow Him.That realization became one of the most honest things I’ve written. It’s called “Here’s How Hustle Culture Has Discipled All of Us.”Maybe you’ve been feeling the same tension. If so...This one’s for us.🍍 Substack Link in bio.For His glory, through my story.™️ by @freely_c

“What lies behind us, and what lies before us, are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson Popped out this weekend, showed love to the fam, then back to the mission. #freelyc #cleveland #forward by @freely_c

At Agency Thirty-Three, we believe creative leadership is defined less by what you produce—and more by what you refuse to compromise.Vision matters. Innovation matters. Execution matters. But without values, creativity becomes motion without meaning. In industries that reward speed, visibility, and disruption, compromise often disguises itself as opportunity. Shortcuts look efficient. Misaligned partnerships look strategic. Trends promise relevance. As a founder-led agency, we’ve learned that true leadership requires restraint.Every intentional no protects something essential: • the integrity of the work • the people behind it • the pace required for sustainability • the purpose driving it allTimeless brands aren’t built by chasing everything. They’re built by safeguarding what matters—especially under pressure. This principle guides how we build, partner, and lead.Building with integrity. Leading with intention. — Agency Thirty-ThreeComment “partner” for a free creative consultation. We’d love to partner with you! #agencylifestyle #agency33 #a33 by @freely_c

Another trip around the sun and in the words of @iamtabithabrown “Oh God, I thank you.🥳And as I celebrate the lessons I’ve learned, strength I’ve gained and healing I’ve received, here are the top 5 nuggets of wisdom I’ve gained since my last trip around the sun.1. Pain is the principle tool God uses to purify, refine and strengthen us. Seek him for the lesson in the testing and you reap the wisdom that pain was sent to teach you.2. Surrender to God has layers and levels, yet nevertheless is a major key to freedom. God truly “resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.” The highest position we can have is the posture of surrendered to God and from that posture he causes all things to work together for our good. #staylow 3. Faith is the currency of the kingdom. Faith in God, faith in who God made you to be, and faith and your God given capacity. The scripture “ I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me,” really came to life for me in 2025 and when I chose to really believe that scripture, God revealed aspects of me that I didn’t know existed. 4. Compromise is a destiny killer. Stand on principle and your will be rewarded accordingly.5. Everything is spiritual. I’ll be “deeper than the ocean floor,” lol— but I stand on that. So address things at the root and then you will see the effects in the fruit.Thank you Jesus for another year of life, I’m so blessed! I’m excited for what you have planned for me. The best is here, in motion and to come. #Jeremiah29:11 Merry Christmas everyone! ✨#freelyc #christmasbaby #happybdaytome by @freely_c

Before I took on the title of a Creative Director or CEO, I learned some of my most important lessons through modeling and wardrobe styling. Two industries people often underestimate, but they were foundational to who I am today.Confidence is learned. Modeling taught me how to show up—even when I didn’t feel ready. Confidence is built through practice, not perfection.Preparation matters. Styling taught me that the magic is in the details no one sees. Excellence starts long before anyone else notices.Adaptability is essential.Fashion changes. Clients change. Plans shift. I learned how to adjust without losing myself—something entrepreneurship demands daily.Authenticity > aesthetics. Looking good means nothing if you aren’t aligned. Identity comes before image.Everything tells a story.Every outfit, every shoot, every moment had a narrative. That’s where my love for storytelling and brand building began. Those creative experiences shaped my eye, my discipline, my resilience—and prepared me for the work I do now with @Agency Thirty-Three, @Perfect Pineapple®, @kingdomculturecle and every community I build as a cultural architect. Here’s to the lessons that shaped us long before we knew they were shaping our future.… and to many more.#freelyc #2025reflections #creativejourney #development by @freely_c
