OUT NOW!
Zeitgeist's debut single "Come to Me" is out today on all streaming platforms! Zeitgeist is the solo project of Daniele Valseriati, a drummer active in Northern Italy's underground metal scene.

The track is the first single from the upcoming album "These Colours", set for release on November 6, and is accompanied by an official music video, available via the link in bio.

Driven by the desire and need to explore his more melodic and romantic side, Valseriati set out to create an album combining classic rock-inspired riffs with heartfelt ballads and folk arrangements. The songs that would eventually make up "These Colours" took shape in a remarkably short time.

At its core, the album explores the theme of love.

It tells the story of a love that, as it unfolds, gives the protagonist a sense of meaning, a feeling of perfect wholeness and a return to his roots. It reflects the deep conviction that true love is rooted in freedom and the ability to choose freely.

It explores feelings never experienced before, impossible to define except through the German word "Sehnsucht".

And finally, it confronts the profound emptiness left behind when everything falls apart, along with the inevitable inner struggle of finding a way to open oneself up to love again.

Recorded by Mario Percudani at Tanzan Music Studio, the album was mixed by Daniele Mandelli and Mario Percudani, and mastered by Giovanni Versari (Muse, Negramaro, Battiato, Subsonica, and others).

The album also features contributions from an impressive lineup of musicians, including Marco Percudani (formerly of Hardline, Hungryheart), Josh Zighetti (Hungryheart), Gianluca Firmo (Room Experience), Francesco Lupi (Tragodia, Ogen), Riccardo Tonoli (Tragodia, Swarm Chain), Edoardo Giovanelli, Daniele Mandelli (Dark Horizon), Anchise Bolchi and Alain Scaglia. by @freemoodrecords

Black Chain Stealer is a new project by guitarist and producer @alexderosso_official (ex-Dokken, Damn Freaks) and singer @giuliogarghentini (Damn Freaks, Dark Horizon).

The collaboration between the two musicians began during the production of Damn Freaks’ third album, III.

The creative synergy that developed during the making of the album is the foundation of this new venture. Black Chain Stealer was born to ride that synergy—no preset formulas, no rules.

Alex De Rosso’s fiery guitar and direction merge with Giulio Garghentini’s explosive vocals in the creation of the first single, “Slave to Time”, which tells the story of a man lost in the web of a life marked by the relentless passage of time.

The track is released by the Freemood - HeavyLoad label of Tanzan Music and is available on all digital platforms.

The single is accompanied by a music video, produced by Maurizio Del Piccolo, Movidel Productions.

Nel 2023 Parris Hyde decide di proseguire non più come band ma come solista; il primo risultato di questa nuova esperienza è il concept “On the Road to Santiago”, realizzato con l'autore e compositore milanese Mark Stone(STONEMOON,
FULMEN,WEIRD PAKT, ealtri)
Nell'album i due musicisti si incontrano all'insegna di un fecondo scambio di linguaggi, in cui l'attitudine metal senza clichè e stereotipi di Hyde va a definire uno spazio comune con il gusto intimistico-acustico, per quanto spezzato da incursioni heavy, di Stone.
Il disco ci porta attraverso una serie di "tappe", quadri, tratti da un pellegrinaggio verso Santiago de Compostela nel nord della Spagna.
Da questo punto di vista ci sono alcuni richiami - nei testi e nelle atmosfere - alla collocazione ispanica del viaggio, ma di per sè l'idea dell'itinerario va oltre la sua concretezza spaziale per assumerne una eterna, interiore ed esistenziale. Con felice coincidenza di termini il disco termina a "Finisterre", omonima località atlantica che racchiude in sè i molti enigmatici sensi del vocabolo latino "finis": la fine, il confine/non plus ultra, il fine ultimo.
Il mare e l'assenza di parole, lasciando spazio ad una chitarra classica, chiudono l'itinerario.
La forma-canzone e la cantabilità restano un punto saldo della scrittura dei due, ma sono trattate in varie sfaccettature e accezioni. Si va da un hard rock epico alla Ten-Black Sabbath 80's era ( l'iniziale "Through the gates"), al doom alla Veni
Domine-Candlemass ("Isabel"), ad un nudo folk (senza certe ridonanze folk metal) di "To the cathedral", ad echi symphonic prog metal ("Sinner", "Days of redemption"). Stante la biografia e il retroterra dei due collaboratori, l'uso della lingua inglese, con un periodico ritorno del latino nei testi, si impone.
Le liriche emanano nel complesso una sofferta visione esistenziale dove il
cristianesimo, certamente non solare nè appagato di sè, dei due autori, scava tormentati chiaroscuri.
