A Smile for a Day is a heartwarming project by Free Open Hands Foundation, where we surprised 10 hardworking traders with a makeover and a small token of appreciation. This experience was truly unforgettable, as it opened my eyes to the importance of cherishing our loved ones while they're still with us. Each trader's story has left an indelible mark on my heart, and I feel honored to have shared in their moments. Life Experience: After marriage, I was barren for years until God made a way for me to have kids and start my business. But after the demise of my husband, I had to find ways to survive by cleaning homes for people who needed the service so I could send my children to school and provide for their little needs. Most times, I clean homes with my children, too, so we can make more money on the job. @vj_ktoolz

We can't help everyone but we really want to try our best to reach out to the right people and be a blessing, we are a non-profit NGO but we bless God for what he his doing. We met this lady on our way from blessing Mama and after talking to her, she explained she has a tumor and dnt have the money for her up keeping and medical bills. She sells little fruit at the road side and we are trying our best to see what we can do. With no form of communication due to her not having a cellphone, we promise to get her one to start with. We believe with a good nutrition food and a chance for a better health she will be good. We stop by ones again to bless her with little food items till we get her a cell phone. Our goal is to have her see a medical doctor and properly go through a medical treatment to know whats going on and how we can help. Being a blessing is a thing of the heart, when you truly give from your ❤ you give the receiver the greatest joy.....Mama story was a beautiful one and she reminded me of my late grandmother 👵. The first time Mama crossed FREE OPEN HANDS FOUNDATION path was when we had our covid-19 giveaway 5kg rice. The first slide was the first time we met Mama and we fell inlove with her. We notice mama wasn't smiling and talking and we couldn't help but ask question, we found out mama fell and hurt her leg and that was the reason for her calmness. We felt the need to visit her this time but in a different way, we believe in taking care of our elderly ones because we all getting old one day and its our responsibility to take care of our parent. Even though mama is not our biological mother we still wanted to show her true love, and letting her know we at Free Open Hands Foundation appreciate her. As you can see we made her day because mama was so happy to see us for the second time and we are happy we did.
