Freeport's future was on full display in Phoenix.

Nearly 200 interns from 67 universities recently gathered in Phoenix for our 2026 University Intern Conference, including a discussion with President and CEO Kathleen Quirk.

At the same time, 40 skilled trades interns from across the company came together for the Skilled Trades Intern Summit to learn, connect and explore career opportunities in mining.

Together, these events showed that there is no single path to success at Freeport. From university programs to skilled trades, future leaders across our company are already making an impact.

From fleeting moments to breathtaking close-ups, wildlife has a way of stopping us in our tracks. 🦊📸

Our annual Employee Wildlife Photo Contest reminds us of that every year. Here’s a look back at a few past winners and finalists, featuring images captured near our operations that highlight the beauty and biodiversity of the places where we live and work.

We can’t wait to share this year’s finalists and the winning photo soon. And while we’re celebrating the photography, we’re also reminded of something bigger: we all have a role to play in caring for the habitats that make moments like these possible.
