When we moved out here I thought I was going to miss the view of Big Mountain from town. But it got replaced with this. And I get to watch the sun rise every morning thru my bedroom windows. This just makes me so happy. by @freerangedingo

My original assessment of 7 out of 10 done was a little off. This took a boat load of crush and fill. I think what I learned today is you can keep adding crush and fill indefinitely. I also lost the war against that rock. It did not come out. I just leveled the ground to the level of the rock. I am really proud of how this turned out. I am sure in 5 yrs time when I have a ton more experience I will look at this and cringe, but for now, she's beautiful.

Mmmm...rocks. one of my super powers seems to be starting projects that eventually require help to finish. You never know how big rocks are gonna be when you start digging. These were massive and took a lot of work to get out of the ground. The mini excavator tried and couldn't get them out. #ridebikesbehappy #mtbikeranch #buildyourdreams #rockgremlin by @freerangedingo

Finished a feature! This one looked like such a nothing burger I didnt even put it in the series. Came out nice. Ignore the fact that I am not wearing a helmet and sebby is doing rock work in his light walking shoes. I might have just said...hey, come look at this real quick.#ridebikesbehappy #mtbikeranch #mtbskills #buildyourdreams @sebbylite by @freerangedingo

Big day. Moved a whole lot of big rocks. Prefer rolling rocks downhill. This was uphill. Crossfit has been replaced by trailfit. I wasnt even gonna work on this, which is why I dont have gloves on, but I walked past it and was like...just a few rocks. Dont even need tools. #big rocks #workb*tch #ridebikesbehappy #buildyourdreams #mtbikeranch by @freerangedingo

We have a lot of big steep rock rolls on the property. They were not the focus for round 1 but this one was low hanging fruit. #trailbuilding #buildyourdreams #mtb #mtbadventures #ridebikesbehappy by @freerangedingo

I finished a feature!!!! (Almost). It's a great little technical climbing feature. Good thing we now own a rock quarry. #buildyourdreams #mtbikeranch #ridebikesbehappy #mtbadventures by @freerangedingo

Lower part of the flow trail is in and it is super sendy. It's soft now but that's why we put it in this year. It will have a winter to settle and pack. Cant wait to ride it.

Part 6 of my series...Unfinished Features. Yeah havent really applied myself to this one. I have rocks. Some of them are hard to remove, therefore, I must make so.ethibg out of them. But it's a low value spit so it remains incomplete. #trailbuilding #ridebikesbehappy #mtbadventures #mtbikeranch by @freerangedingo

Part 5 of my series "Unfinished Features"....this one doesnt look like much because it is very much WIP. It is a tricky climby corner. I need to make both top and bottom wide and armour the climby part because the dort is so soft.
