Fresh off a highly successful run at the 2026 Philadelphia Fringe Festival in collaboration with Liberty City Arts, "Never Land," a drag cabaret inspired by themes of queer escapism found in Peter Pan, is coming to Kingston! 🦄 Created and performed by Philadelphia-based artists Dicky Dutton @dickydutton, Heather Jones @hbeeejay, and Michael Lewis @m.a.lew, the work explores gender, identity, and the consequences of trying to outgrow the roles we're assigned at birth. Directed by @freerosie, Never Land is a big "Silly Stupid Deep and Queer AF" genderbent Peter Pan ✨ In Never Land, Hook and Wendy confront the restricting gender binary of mother versus pirate. Or is it Daddy’s Only? Through music, theatricality, and plenty of serious clownery, the performers try on literal and metaphorical hats — Pirate and mother? No. Pirate and pirate? Maybe. Pirate and fairy? Let's go! 🏴‍☠️🧚‍♂️ Thursday, November 19th 7PM Doors/ 7:30pm Show $20 ADV/ $25 DOORS by @freerosie

Ok, matey. Time to meet some brilliant artists. ‘Never Land’, the queer theatrical cabaret brings pirates, mothers, villain origin stories colliding as our beloved childhood characters attempt to grow up or grow out of the expectations assigned to them at birth. Hungarian residency for trans artists and the journey back to the United States. I wrote and meditated and then went on a journey seeing all sorts of cool castles and angels (Budapest, eastern Italy and Slovenia, Venice for dinner, Rome for a day) until I was in Toni’s loving arms in New York. by @freerosie
Went to San Marino and Cattolica with @ophutch and @kristinconducts Saw Nabucco at the Verona Opera Festival. Drove through the Alps to visit my dear friend @fmldirector in Bavaria. Parked on a side street in Vienna to find myself outside a gay club, walked into town and joined their protest outside a church. Now I’m at an Artist Residency in Hungary. I swear I’m coming back stateside eventually. by @freerosie
Thanks Wein! You were gorgeous. Also you’ve made some seriously good music over the centuries. I also enjoyed the Gay Pride protest and pork roast. by @freerosie
Congratulations to tonight’s cast! So proud of you. There’s something so magical about watching a cast soar across stage boards in one of the oldest wooden theatres in Italy. She’s seen so many feet. We’re pretty lucky to be here with @lamusicalirica making opera by @freerosie
