🙏 by @freespiritcrew

Le thème de cette 32ème édition, « Be part of the Plan » (« Faire partie du Plan ») est un appel à engager toutes les parties prenantes. 🤝

🦒🌿 Protecting and restoring nature is crucial for giraffes!

According to the IUCN Red List, giraffes are classified as Vulnerable, with their population declining by over 40% in recent decades.

There are now fewer than 68,000 giraffes left in the wild. 🌍💔

Giraffes are iconic inhabitants of the savannas and grasslands of Africa, playing a key role in ecosystem balance by browsing on trees and shrubs, which helps control vegetation growth and promotes biodiversity. However, habitat loss, fragmentation, and human-wildlife conflict threaten their survival. 🌳🦒

To help protect giraffes, we can make sustainable choices in our daily lives by supporting conservation organizations, avoiding products made from giraffe parts, and advocating for the protection of their habitats.

🌍💚 By promoting habitat conservation and reducing our ecological footprint, we can ensure a future where giraffes continue to roam the African savannas. Together, let’s safeguard these majestic creatures and their natural habitats! 🦒🌍

🦍🌿 Protecting and restoring nature is critical for gorillas!

According to the IUCN Red List, gorillas are classified as Endangered, with populations declining due to habitat loss, poaching, and disease.

The latest estimates suggest that there are fewer than 5,000 Eastern gorillas and fewer than 4,000 Western gorillas remaining in the wild. 🌍💔

Gorillas are keystone species in their forest habitats, playing a crucial role in seed dispersal and maintaining ecosystem health.

By conserving forests, we not only protect gorillas but also preserve biodiversity and mitigate climate change. 🌳💚

To help protect gorillas, we can make sustainable choices in our daily lives by opting for sustainably sourced products, reducing our carbon footprint, and supporting organizations working to conserve gorilla habitats. 🦍💡

By raising awareness and taking action, we can ensure a future where gorillas thrive in their natural environment. Together, let’s be guardians of gorillas and their precious forest homes! 🌍🦍

🦁🌿 Protecting and restoring nature is vital for the survival of lions!

Did you know that according to the IUCN Red List, lions are classified as Vulnerable, with their population declining by over 40% in the last three generations?

This iconic species is facing numerous threats, including habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and poaching. 🌍🚫

By safeguarding their natural habitats and restoring degraded ecosystems, we can ensure a brighter future for lions and other wildlife.

Let’s take action to protect these majestic creatures and preserve biodiversity for generations to come! 🦁💚

🌍🕯️ Tonight, we gather in solidarity for #EarthHour! From 8:30 to 9:30 PM local time, millions worldwide will dim non-essential lights, symbolizing our shared commitment to the planet’s health and vitality.

Earth Hour transcends mere darkness; it’s a global movement illuminating the profound link between climate change 🌿 and nature loss.

By reducing our energy consumption during this hour, we’re not just cutting carbon emissions, but also standing up for biodiversity 🦋 and ecosystems.

This initiative serves as a poignant reminder of the urgent need for collective action in the face of climate crisis and environmental degradation. It’s a call to action to reevaluate our relationship with the planet 🌿 and prioritize sustainability in all aspects of our lives.

As we observe Earth Hour, let’s take this opportunity to reflect on the impact of our daily choices and recommit to making positive changes for the health of our planet. Together, we have the power to create a brighter, greener future for generations to come. 💡💚 #Connect2Earth #ClimateAction #EarthHour #Biodiversity #Sustainability #TogetherWeCan by @freespiritcrew
