To me, Hip Hop is one of the last bastions of free and uncensored speech. But when algorithms 👿dictate what people can and can’t see, it’s a slippery slope. The lines get blurry, and it’s hard to know where they should rightfully fall…And what happens when what wants to be expressed is instead suppressed? ☠️I don’t know where to draw that line anymore… so on @freestyleflowfest I don’t. The artists exist authentically as who they are… integrated ☯️ in a way most individuals never have the courage to present themselves. Freestyle is one of the bravest art forms one can ever participate in. 🫡You have no time to stop and think about what comes out. There are a million reasons for each bar to exist the way it does.
