🇲🇾 Selamat Hari Merdeka.

A celebration of freedom, unity, and the shared spirit that brings us together.

Proudly Malaysian, always.

Some might think I’m a rocker after last night’s concert… 😄 Nope, I just happen to enjoy a few rock songs.

I was there to support ROCKESTRA 5.0, a great collaboration between DBKL and CIMB to move KL forward through Culture, Arts, Tourism and Sports (CATS). Good music, good vibes, and it was nice to see Panggung Anniversary at Taman Tasik Perdana come alive again. It definitely brought back memories of the days when we used to enjoy free concerts there.

One thing I noticed though… the generation gap is real. The turnout could have been better, perhaps because many Gen Z don’t really know or appreciate these legendary rock artists. But for those who grew up with their songs, it was a nostalgic and enjoyable night. 🤘

Alhamdulillah for another year of life that Allah has granted me. Ya Allah, I thank You for Your mercy, protection, and countless blessings—both seen and unseen. As I enter a new year of my life, I ask You to forgive my shortcomings, guide my heart toward what pleases You, and strengthen my imaan. Grant me good health, sincerity in my actions, and consistency in my worship. Allow me to grow closer to You, to become a better servant, and to prepare well for the Akhirah. Aamiin ~ 😎

In a mood of writing a poem ~ 😎

Silent Ache

The evening folds without a sound,
A thread pulls tight, then circles round.
Something stirs beneath the rain,
A hush too deep to call by name.

Windows blur with what once shone,
The air remembers, though I don’t.
Time drifts slow through unseen hands,
Still I wait ~ though nothing stands.

In every pause, a quiet trace,
Of something lost that keeps its place.
