Peony season is almost here, and at this time of year, I can’t help but think of the lovely garden I had when I lived in Montreal. I planted some here in Los Angeles, but I wasn’t able to keep them alive. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone, wherever you may be!

I am completely charmed by my new ‘Earth Angel’ roses, which I bought last year from @heirloomroses. It is a daily delight to go out and visit them in my garden. However, I am still holding back from cutting them to make bouquets, as there aren’t quite enough of them yet.
As I gaze upon them, I tell myself that there is still beauty in this world, or at the very least, I am trying to create my own little universe of beauty and gentleness.
