POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Megan Leavey is a U.S. Marine Corps corporal who served as a military police K9 handler. She was paired with Rex, a military working dog trained to help detect explosives. Together, they completed more than 100 missions and served two deployments in Iraq, where their work helped protect troops and save lives.

In 2006, while on patrol in Ramadi, Megan and Rex were both wounded by an improvised explosive device. Their story later became widely known because of Megan’s fight to be reunited with Rex after his service ended, and it inspired the 2017 film Megan Leavey.

We don’t just capture images of working dogs; we also cherish beautiful memories like this—a heartfelt moment between a father and son, @jay_pk9, celebrating their new beginning together. Once again, thank you, congratulations on your boy, and many blessings for you and your family. taken in New York, N.Y. by @frenchiesofwar

I had the honor of creating this wood art for my bro, Matt, CEO of Jersey K9 Club and @k9matt1_. This photo captures Matt at 17—he's been a dog trainer / Dog man for over 20 years. Training with him means benefiting from decades of experience and exceptional canine expertise. #jerseyk9 #puthatshitonwood #Marines #veteranowned taken in Jersey City, New Jersey by @frenchiesofwar
