Work in progress album cover for a client. But this artwork is special. If there is one thing I never do and I advise all of you graphic designer to do the same, is to NEVER do long distance design!! Why?
1 - There is always misunderstanding that leads to time wasting.
2 - It’s truly tiring because the client is always undecided.
I met the client at a friend wedding and he told me how much money he spent on designing his album and E.P that I decided to help. Although I knew it would take some times, I never imagined designing an E.P and album cover would last for a week... 😩😩😩
As a graphic designer, I gave my word to help him so I will stand behind my word. But my biggest advise to you, do not be afraid to go meet and design at the client!! You’re saving time of misunderstanding AND the client get to see WHY you are charging what you’re charging.
