iXS Downhill Cup @bikeparkspicak 🇨🇿
always a must-race for me.
A bike park that just feels like home 🌿✨💚

Thought I'd have to race the Enduro bike, but the DH bike came together just in time. First weekend on the new build 🥰 and it already feels fast. Hoping not to crash or put the first scratch on it 😅

Good laps. Good crew. Even better seeing my master girls throw down serious runs all weekend ⚡⚡ Stoked for every single one of them, congrats 🍻🫶🤘

Not at 100%, but the job got done.

iXS Downhill Cup Semmering 🇦🇹

9 hours there, 6 hours back — and absolutely worth it for a masterpiece of a downhill track
long, technical, and packed with key sections. Exactly the kind of track that makes my downhill heart race ❤️‍🔥
After the last few challenging weeks, I knew this wouldn't be a peak-performance weekend. I came for the track, the bike park, and the race atmosphere — and I was happy with that decision.
Unfortunately, I never really found my flow on the track. The beast of a course on my enduro bike demanded everything, so energy management became part of the game.
Friday brought a long track hold, Saturday rain storms meant no seeding run, and after only a short training session on Sunday, I made too many mistakes in the opening seconds of my race run. That left me riding tense and cautious all the way to the finish.
Sharing the weekend with an awesome race community made it worth it. Big thanks to the mini pit crew, @uli_ellwart and @helenefruhwirth for bringing back some confidence after all the crashes of the last few weeks.
Not the run I was looking for, but still happy to take P3 in Masters Female 🥉Some weekends are about results. Others are about resilience.

Season opener @ixsdownhillcup @mtbzone_bikeparkwillingen 🙌 🚵‍♀️✨

The weather was doing the absolute most ⛈️☀️🌦️🌪️all weekend, every run felt different. I took the gamble on flats, but after the huge race delay the track dried out and the choice didn't really pay off. Ended up found no grip on pedal and crashing in my race run too 😅
But I get up and go again...and somehow still brought home a podium🥇💥

Congrats to all the strong women in the Masters Female category 👏💖💪

Not quite the ending I had hoped for, but still a weekend full of lessons, great people, and unforgettable moments 💫

So grateful for all the support these past years and for being part of the Weihenstephaner family 🫶🏼

Hey, I’m Franzi 👋 and I’ve been part @rvn.freising since 2024 💚

Joining the club, riding with amazing people and seeing how much confidence, joy and motivation kids gain through MTB inspired me to step up and get involved. Over time, I started taking more volunteer coaching roles - and recently completed my DOSB Trainer C certification @bayerischer_radsportverband 🥳

One thing I learned along the way: you don’t need to be a pro athlete to become a coach.
If you care about people, enjoy riding and want to give something back to the next generation, you already bring so much to the table 🤝

For me, coaching is about way more than teaching technique or riding trails. It’s about creating a positive space where kids feel supported, challenged and proud of themselves. Watching someone overcome fears, learn new skills or simply smile after a ride is one of the best feelings ever 🌿💪

Every training session is also a chance to keep learning yourself - about leadership, communication, teamwork and responsibility.
And the coolest part? You grow together with the kids 🤗

I’m super excited to continue, keep improving as a coach and support the next generation of riders 🚵‍♂️💚

So if you’ve ever thought about becoming a coach or helping out at your local club?
The sport needs more people who care - and you might inspire more kids than you think ✨

Because the best trails are the ones we ride together 🙌

Another race weekend @ixsdownhillcup survived 💪🏼
I went @bikeparkspicak with mixed feelings – on one hand, excited for some real downhill action, and on the other, with a bit of reverence for the epic "Struggle". And yes, right in the first training run: found a penny in the third dusty corner – bruised my pelvis and felt uncertain for the rest of the weekend. Then, a technical issue on my bike ended my Friday training.
The struggle claimed some riders, wheels, and tubes, but I didn’t let it get to me 😤

Thanks to everyone who made this weekend so wonderful - for the support, good vibes, and motivation to keep pushing forward 🫶🏼🍻💯 And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who believed in me from afar and kept their fingers crossed 🤗🤞🏼😘
