Ara, also known as Freqrelevant, is a visionary community organizer and regional DJ from Baguio City, Philippines. As a DJ, she always dives into the search for something deep, raw, human, and soulful.

Ara is a key pioneer in Baguio City’s underground scene, shaping its creative energy and pushing forward a new generation of art and music. This Sunday Blue Hours is back with @freqrelevant joined by @_t33g33

Blue hours listening session is a deep and visceral exploration of sound, inspired by the blue hours, the nautical moments that open and close the day, when quiet settles in and cold whispers drift through. It is a listening show, carefully curated by DJs and artists who long for cold, deep sounds. taken in Baguio City by @freqrelevant

2 months since hertz anniversary and i find myself in a more strong place to hold another night.

i’ve poured so much of my heart into these nights, into the people who show up, the ones who stay late and who goes early. even when the room feels still, there’s something alive in the air…something tender about the music played…

i’m feeling mostly excited for this hertz 7 program lineup. 2 of my dear friends, @csolce and @puspinz who will be opening and closing the night.. both of them are rising djs based in baguio, artists i’ve heard and watched a few times now. i saw where they started and have seen how they’ve grown into sharper djs and more confident music producers and selectors. and of course, a dear friend @_t33g33 , who i have known and supported since my first elephant here in baguio. im very honored to have known her and am excited to hear her play for us in hertz!

this time around im coming as an organizer, a dancer and a visual artist. please come, dance, and see what’s next for us @signalinghertz :) see you next saturday!
