DTCC’s goal is bringing traditional securities into tokenized form while maintaining existing market protections and compliance requirements. XLM integration is intended to support issuance, settlement, and lifecycle management of those tokenized assets

1. Asset issuance is a core Stellar strength
Stellar was built around:
* Token issuance
* Compliance controls
* Asset transfers
* Stablecoins
* Cross-border settlement

For tokenized securities, those features matter more than speculative crypto narratives.

2. Strong focus on regulated financial infrastructure
Stellar has spent years building tooling around:
* KYC/AML integrations
* Asset issuers
* Anchors (regulated on/off ramps)
* Permissioned asset controls

Those are exactly the kinds of features traditional financial institutions care about.

3. Open public-chain access with low fees
Stellar transactions are:
* Fast
* Extremely cheap
* Predictable

For securities infrastructure, cost certainty matters.

Why not XRP?

The XRP ecosystem is primarily known for:

* Cross-border liquidity
* FX settlement
* Banking/payment corridors

Whereas the DTCC announcement is specifically about tokenized securities infrastructure.

Stay focused… #XRP by @frequencyfixx
