Oh boy… with July 7th coming up, it’ll be seven years since this photo was taken. It was snapped the night before my very first FreshChef delivery—to one customer. These past seven years have taught me a lot about myself and about running a business. I won’t get into all the horror stories, but there have been plenty of incredible moments too. Countless memories, endless hard work, and a whole lot of dedication. One of the biggest lessons business has taught me is this: know your worth, and don’t take bullshit from anyone. Ever. Stand your ground and keep fighting for what you love and what you believe in. The rest will take care of itself as long as you keep showing up and putting in the work. Am I perfect? Hell no. But I believe in accountability, and I always will. It’ll take you a long way in business. Real recognizes real, and people respect authenticity. The second lesson? Your employees are your greatest asset. Always. They are the backbone of your business. If you genuinely take care of them, they’ll take care of you and your business. But you have to be in the trenches with them every single day. If you’re in business and you’re reading this, don’t give up. Ever. I’ve been betrayed. I’ve been lied to. I’ve been sued. I’ve watched my bank account go negative more than once. But I never backed down, and I never stopped moving forward. Be one of the good ones in business. When you’re fortunate enough to build something successful and help the people around you become better, it’s one of the best feelings in the world. Here’s to the first seven years—and to many more. 🍻 by @freshchefmke

{Gifted} As if packing my husband’s lunch for work didn’t get any easier! @freshchefmke saved the day bringing wholesome meals to busy people (like myself) a stay at home mama of 2 young boys who need something convenient, clean, delicious & DELIVERED STRAIGHT TO YOUR DOOR 🏡 while juggling school, after school events, homework, house chores, my busy schedule as a content creator & a full calendar of collaborations with businesses in our community. Chef Austin started Freshchef in 2019 that began in his home kitchen. In addition to his weekly meal prep, he has a cafe located in West Allis at the Summit Place building where you can stop in and enjoy a freshly prepared meal 🍽️ 📍6737 W Washington Street, West Allis, WI 53214 Freshchef also provides corporate lunch catering through out the week, making it easier for teams and offices to enjoy balanced meals without the stress of planning. All orders need to be placed before Noon on Thursdays for Monday Delivery. A new menu is released every Friday Morning. Deliveries take place every Monday between 4 and 8 pm in Milwaukee and the surrounding areas 😊🙌🏼 Thank you so much again Chef Austin for this amazing opportunity! You definitely put some ease on my week this week when it comes to packing lunch! ☺️ be sure to give @freshchefmke a follow & place your weekly meal prep orders!!! #milwaukee #localbusiness #reels #healthymeals #fyp by @freshchefmke
