Every great journey starts somewhere…The Fresh Cuts road to success… ✂️💈❤️

Growing up, we didn’t have the money to go to a barbershop. My dad cut the hair of my two brothers and me because that’s all we could afford. At 14 years old, I picked up the clippers and shaved my own head. When my dad saw it, he asked, “Who cut your hair?” I smiled and said, “I did.”
Without missing a beat, he replied, “Then from now on, you’re cutting my hair and your brothers’ too.”
Neither of us knew it at the time, but that conversation would change my life forever. What started as a way to help my family save money became the foundation of Fresh Cuts Hair Studio.

2004 – It all started in my parents’ basement. Your first haircut would be FREE the next one would be $5. I didn’t know exactly where this journey would take me, but I knew I loved cutting hair, it was my passion as a barber.
2007 – We renovated the basement, and Fresh Cuts had its own little space. Haircuts were $10, and with every client, I got a little better. Word of mouth was the best promo for me and I made sure who ever left my chair was a walking build board to show case my work.
2010 – The shop moved into my parents’ garage. Haircuts were $15, and the dream kept getting bigger. It wasn’t about the money—it was about building something that would last.
2014 – A dream became reality. I opened my own barbershop.
2026 – A fully renovated Fresh Cuts Hair Studio. A new look, but the same passion, the same work ethic, and the same appreciation for every single person who has supported me.

The part most people don’t see is that I never had a mentor. Nobody taught me how to cut hair. There weren’t famous barbers on YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram to learn from when I started. Every client who sat in my chair became my teacher in a way. Every haircut was a lesson. Every mistake made me better. Every fade sharpened my skills.

I didn’t become who I am alone. My clients trusted me when I was still learning, and because of that trust, I became a self-taught barber. Together, we built Fresh Cuts from the ground up.
