THE LONG WAY BACK. Impostor syndrome? I don’t know her 💅🏼 in all seriousness, looking back I’m glad I took that chance because that chance brought me back to it. I’m still navigating my way through it and figuring it out as I go, but the connections and relationships I’ve built from people that are passionate as I am are what truly drives me forward. Always believe in the power of yes ⭐️ #motivation #fashion #founderstory by @freshfer
Part 2: Why I started ARENA 🔴 Some stories don’t begin with certainty. They begin with a dream you quietly carry for years. For a long time, I thought I had missed my chance to be part of the fashion industry. I convinced myself that because I wasn’t a fashion designer—or because I didn’t study fashion—I didn’t belong. It took me years to realize that there is more than one way to build a creative legacy. ARENA was born from that realization. It’s my way of giving emerging designers, stylists, photographers, makeup artists, and creatives the kind of support I wish I’d had when I was nineteen. A reminder that your creativity deserves to be seen, your work deserves to be valued, and your dreams don’t need permission to exist. If you’ve ever felt like you took the “wrong” path, I hope this story reminds you that no experience is wasted. Sometimes the detour becomes the very thing that prepares you for your purpose. Thank you for being part of this journey and for believing in what ARENA is becoming. 🤍 by @freshfer
Story time on how ARENA started, honestly: I was standing in the crowd at a local fashion show — not working, not filming for content, just there and enjoying the show. I looked around at everyone leaning in, cheering, filming on their phones, models walking, cameras flashing, and I thought: why isn’t anybody talking about this scene the way it deserves? El Paso and Juárez have real designers doing real work. This border doesn’t usually get to be a fashion story — it gets to be a headline about something else. ARENA started because I wanted that to change. Right now it’s just me. Blog posts, social media, graphic design, coordinating, marketing— all of it. I love it, and some nights the fact that I’m not getting paid for any of it wears on my “why.” I’ve had moments of real self-doubt, moments of not being taken seriously. But then a designer I have interviewed tells me they admire what I’m building — and that’s the moment it all makes sense again. ARENA isn’t finished. I don’t have all the answers on how to make this sustainable yet. But I’m building it in public, on this border, one story at a time. Thank you for being here for it. 🤍 PS: Part 2 coming soon 🫶🏽 by @freshfer
Life update ✨ “You can have it all, just not all at once” 6 months have flown by so quick. Iris is now rolling over, eating solids and more recently sleeping through the night. I look back at the newborn days with nostalgia and realize time is a thief, but having a loving and supporting partner in all these stages is making everything feel less heavy and overwhelming. Iris is so lucky to have an amazing dad. Remi and Jackie are understanding more and more that Iris is part of the family and are taking a liking to her. 💞 I’m proud of how far ARENA has come. It’s like watching another baby of mine finally going to elementary school and blossom into their own, but there is still a lot of work to do. I have so many ideas and so many paths I can take this, but it’s one day at a time. 🕰️ Sometimes I want to do everything all at once and as quickly as possible, but then I think about what Michelle Obama said that “you can have it all, just not all at once” and its annoying how right she is. I’m still learning to slow down, stay present and not let my mind wonder. And all of this comes with a full time job, but I’m grateful everyday of everything and everyone that surrounds me. #lifestyle #motherhood by @freshfer

Pregnancy fits ✨ After finding out I was pregnant, I made a promise to myself to not lose myself or my sense of style. After browsing many maternity clothes online and sometimes in store, I’ve come to found out that maternity clothes need a BIG revamp. I get that moms want to be comfortable, but do we really need to cover everything up just because we’re pregnant? We’re creating life! Show that bump and flaunt it! 💅🏼✨ All of these fits are directly from my closet. I refused to buy those frumpy dresses or live in leggings and loose shirts. Oh, and if you can’t tell, I love wearing black. It’s a very happy color 🖤 #pregnancy #pregnantfashion #fashion #style #newmom by @freshfer
Living the slow life ✨ I honestly never thought I was going to get to this point in life; a calm nervous system, a secure and loving partner, a fashion side project that i’m very proud of, an easy pregnancy (so far) and 3 fur babies that are spoiled rotten. i like this new version i am becoming and i can’t wait to find out what this year has in store for me 💫 #2026 by @freshfer
