6 years ago, this was just a hobby. Today, it’s the life I used to dream about.

I was buying electric toys with my own money and reviewing them on the Jimmy Chang channel simply because I loved this stuff.

I had no idea where it would lead.

Those videos slowly snowballed into Jimmy and me partnering up, building something together, and eventually creating what you know today as Freshly Charged.

Now I get to call this my job.

I get to ride eFoils, electric scooters, eMotos, Onewheels, EUCs, electric surfboards, hoverboards, e-bikes, and some of the craziest electric machines being built.

Sometimes I stop and think about how unreal that is.

What started as a hobby turned into an opportunity to travel, meet incredible people, experience things I never imagined, and make a living doing something I genuinely love.

None of that happens without YOU. ❤️

To everyone who has watched a video, subscribed, commented, shared our content, used one of our links, stopped us in public to say hi, or supported Freshly Charged in any way, thank you. You helped turn a dream into my reality.

And to all of the companies that took a chance on us, sent us products, sponsored videos, invited us to events, listened to our feedback, and supported us along the way, thank you for believing in what we were building.

If there’s one thing these last 6 years have taught me, it’s this:

Take the risk.

Start the channel.
Build the business.
Try the thing you’ve been scared to try.
Say yes to the opportunity.
Chase the idea that everyone else thinks is crazy.

You have no idea where one decision can take you.

Life moves way too fast to spend it wondering, “What if?”

Risk is always better than regret. ⚡️

Have you ever experienced love at first sight?

That’s basically what happens the first time you try an efoil.

This was @euczac’s first time riding one, and you could literally see the moment it clicked. A few minutes later he was flying across perfectly flat water on his stomach 😂

We get to test a LOT of incredible tech that moves us, but efoiling is still one of the coolest experiences we’ve ever had on the channel.

50 shades of the INMOTION X1

It’s been an amazing 3 days riding the X1. From chunky trails, flowy terrain, to massive jumps…the X1 has excelled on all the terrain we’ve thrown at it.

It’s not perfect but it’s the most powerful off-roading EUC we’ve ever tested.

Will the X1 be crowned the best EUC of 2026?

The Segway MUXI Pro fixes a lot of what riders wanted from the original.

Now it gets 70mm of front suspension, a 9-speed electronic shifter with auto shifting, integrated turn signals, a crisp TFT display with navigation, and a long list of smart security features.

It also brings the tech Segway is known for: Apple Find My, GPS tracking, Motion Alert, Motor Lock, Lost Mode, Hill Descent Control, and available upgrades like Rearview Radar and the Xiro dropper post.

Top speed is 28 mph, power comes from a 750W motor, and torque is rated at up to 80 Nm.

If you liked the original MUXI but wanted more comfort, more features, and more safety, this is the one.

Small bike. BIG surprise. ⚡️

After riding the LiveWire S4 Honcho Trail, the thing that impressed me most wasn’t even the 59 MPH top speed, it was how substantial this thing feels.

We’ve tested a LOT of mini eMotos and pit bikes, and this might be the most solidly built one yet. The acceleration is strong but incredibly smooth, the suspension is seriously impressive, and the removable dual-battery setup makes a ton of sense.

And most importantly… this thing is an absolute BLAST. 😂

Segway’s new kids hoverboard is seriously cool 👀

The Ninebot S2 Kids has customizable RGB lights, a built-in Bluetooth speaker, and self-balancing tech — and the whole unboxing/setup is ridiculously satisfying. 🔊✨

From ripping open the packaging and peeling off the plastics to the first ride, this one was made for an ASMR-style video.

I don’t think people realize how close efoiling feels to actually flying.

Once you lift above the water, everything gets quiet and you’re just carving across the surface. It’s such a surreal feeling, and changing wings can completely transform the ride.

I’ve been riding the SiFly Glide 1100 lately and really enjoying it. It’s stable, smooth, and makes those long, flowy turns feel effortless. A really fun wing for anyone working on their carving and progressing their riding.

This thing surprised us. The Saber S1 is the lightest power-performance e-bike we’ve reviewed, weighing just 105 lbs, but it still packs some serious performance.

We tested:
⚡ 46.4 MPH top speed
💪 2,200W motor / 3,700W peak power
🔋 60V 30Ah / 1,800Wh battery
🛞 26x4” Maxxis tires
🔥 Full suspension
🛑 4-piston hydraulic brakes
