Purple balls 🟣

Uncomfortable holds, too small to fully grab them so you gotta pinch them and trust that it holds! Took way more tries then it should have, a good learning process in increasing different and awkward shapes.

As the year ends and a new one begins, I’m thinking about you, Donovan.

We met through our shared passion for Street Fighter - countless games, trash talk, laughs, and moments that turned into a real friendship. I never imagined that something so simple would lead to someone so important in my life.

You left way too soon, and going into a new year without you feels like a huge loss.
You were one of the most honest, caring, loving people I knew - always joking, always sarcastic, but never careless with the people you loved. You always had my back. No matter what. You pushed me to be better, to be my best self, both in the game and in life.

I’ll miss those long sets with you - running it back, learning, laughing, and just being in the moment together.
Losing you hurts, but knowing you changed me forever is something I’ll always carry. Your friendship is a reminder to live fully, to laugh more, to show up for people, and to never take this life for granted.

I’ll step into this new year missing you, but also honoring you - by living with everything you taught me.
