✨🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️✨

There’s just something about birds, but specifically pigeons (doves included) that I’m completely taken with.

I don’t know how to explain it but I have always felt so comforted by them.
And I’ve never been able to understand why they are regarded with such disdain.

When I was vending, every time one of them shit on my table, WITHOUT FAIL I would have a blessed night and nearly sell out of product.😂 no but fr apparently it’s a good omen/myth

Forever love to these shiny sky dogs and of course our lil Pepper love. Pepper has made me fall even more deeply in love with the family Columbidae

This is Possibly the most regal pigeon I’ve ever witnessed. Posed for me and everything. I think I might have to sketch or paint this.

My beautiful Pepper
What a delightful character
What a beautiful creature.

I wanted to capture her in her molt, as she is, a “teenager”, raw and learning and beautiful.

Birds represent so much more than a species.
If you get the chance, go outside today and observe flight.

Until she tells me what to call this 18”x24” drawing, I’m calling it “an Ocean of Emotion”
Nothing gives me more pride than watching my daughter create. And look at all of those different expressive faces!!!
You are forever my pride and joy Journey Lu
