august went by really slowly, but has settled itself so incredibly nicely. i'm so grateful for everything i was able to do and all the things i was able to put into perspective. i love making home made iced tea and cooking on something else than just a rice cooker. our new place has been coming together so nicely and is so dear to my heart already. can't wait to see what fun activities i can hold here <3 by @freya.spes

july was for annual traditions, napping and cocooning. it was also really hot outside. starting to feel like i'm recovering from a rut i didn't realising i was in. i started focusing on my spirituality and deepening my relationship. i'm so grateful for being able to look forward to so many exciting things <3 by @freya.spes

june was for going on walks, dilly-dallying and working on personal projects. as well as for rediscovering parts of myself that i'd neglected/learned to suppress. overall a very hectic, chaotic and busy month but still plenty of time to be present and reflect. it's really lovely to see what can happen anyway when you don't set any expectations. i'm super grateful for the tenderness and presence i rediscovered <3 by @freya.spes

i've been trying to find my way back to myself. not necessarily that i wasn't myself or that i was lost, but more that i lacked authenticity or wasn't really honest with myself. it's been a very tumultuous past couple of months and i can see that i'm finally starting to get my footing back, even though i'm not particularly feeling that way. i've been focusing a lot on introspection and trying to decipher if there's any patterns i still need to learn from - in more ways than one. i've been craving to make meaningful art, to write more and to generally be less glued to my phone and more present in my life. i feel that it is serving me well <3 by @freya.spes
