Disappointed but not surprised when I see women defending atrocious, heinous actions of men. The patriarchy survives because it’s made women its soldiers. #malecentredwomen

Friends! Here’s our October list of goodies, everything we’re loving right now. None of it is sponsored, by the way. These are all things we’re genuinely consuming 🤩

May I suggest ordering your copy of American Hagwon through @amplifybookstore ? I’m getting mine this week. Let’s uplift the brilliant women behind this beautiful and important bookshop 🥰 by @freya___bennett

Haylee got her first period in maths class. When she excused herself to put on a pad for the first time, she realised she hadn’t listen to her mum’s instructions and had no idea where the sticky side went.

freya bennett (@freya___bennett) is learning that maybe the goal isn’t becoming relentlessly positive – it’s making peace with the temperament you’ve got. in her latest rant, she unpacks catastrophising, crankiness and the guilt of not seeing the world through rose-coloured glasses.

"in the end, changing my attitude might be less about changing who i am as a frazzled human and more about working with the constitution i was given. now, if you need me, i’ll be planning our escape route, should we accidentally drive into a lake."

you can read the full rant in the latest issue of the mag, available online or at your local stockist. by @freya___bennett
