Had a blast editing through today’s shots (and I still have endless favorites left over). Narrowing it down to 20 was brutal, but thankful IG finally let us move past 10! Not gonna lie, hiking that hill took way more out of my legs than anticipated. Stoked for tomorrow! #whistlerdhworldcup #dhworldcup taken in Whistler Creekside Village by @freyatimmerman

Sometimes you have to look back at old footage to remember where you’re going. Looking at it now has me doing a lot of reflecting on my riding journey, the chaotic reality of race days, and the behind-the-scenes of the MTB community. I’ve been quietly writing down my thoughts, from the reality of injuries to the absolute mayhem of mass starts at Sea Otter (seriously, it was wild), and I just put it all into my new blog. If you want the real, unfiltered side of the ride, the link is in my bio. Go give it a read and let me know if you’ve ever experienced the same thing on the start line! taken in Galbraith Mountain Biking Trails by @freyatimmerman

Pre-otter shenanigans! Can’t get over the fact that this week is already over. After heading into last fall with a pretty severe injury and missing out on those last few weeks of sun. My soul deeply needed some beach time. Who is going to be at @seaotterclassic tomorrow? Hmu if you are. @spencerpras and I will be out and about all weekend 🌞🌊 #seaotterclassic #mtb #bikelifestyle #santacruz #saltlife taken in Santa Cruz, California by @freyatimmerman

Sometimes you win some sometimes you lose some. Unfortunately, most of these photos were taken a little bit before I fractured my humerus. The first lap I noticed my balance was thrown off in the section I would later crash in, but didn’t think much of it. On the second lap I added more speed into the equation and crashed before I had time to process it, body slamming my right arm. I had surgery last night and have about a three month recovery. I can now say from experience that Skagit Valley Hospital is absolutely incredible. Every nurse and doctor was so mindful and kind. The sort of experience I haven’t had in any hospital before. HUGE thanks to everyone who’s been helping Spencer and I as we scrambled to get everything figured out. I’m bummed we won’t get to watch Red Bull Rampage this year, but will plan for the next, healthier, and stronger than before. I feel pretty lucky that I’m left-handed and still can do a lot because of that. I’m shifting my mindset to arts and crafts + wedding planning. If anyone is looking for a crafting partner, you know who to call 🙈🎨 *sound on for squirrel chatter* by @freyatimmerman

Pippi’s first time being a trail dog! Our hearts are so full. This girl is such a joy and we’re so excited to be in the beginning steps of taking her out on bike rides 💗 #taildog #galby #mtb #mtbdog #dayinmylife #adventuredog #gooutside by @freyatimmerman

New gear drop from @dharcoclothing and I’ve been putting it to the test. Pedal-friendly. Breathable. Actually stays in place on long rides. ✨ Proof that protection doesn’t have to be bulky or boring. If you’ve been holding out on new protection for the season, this might just be your ticket. Tag that friend who whose pads are looking a little too much like a spiderweb! 📸 @spencerpras #dharco #mtbgear #downhillmtb #bikeparkseason #mtblife #protectivegear #womenwhoride taken in Galbraith Mountain Biking Trails by @freyatimmerman

I still can’t get over how much fun I had racing the @the_loam_hustler this weekend! Such a rad, supportive crew of women out there. If you’re a lady looking to dip your toes into enduro or test your limits in a welcoming space, put this race on your list for next year.
There were stacked aid stations, hyped-up course marshals, stoked spectators, and plenty of time to ride your own pace, whatever that looks like. Big shoutout to @dharcoclothing for bringing the energy to one of the toughest pedally sections of the day. Couldn’t have asked for a better vibe 🤘✨

Winter vibes, but make it sendy ❄️🔥 Bundled up, gearing up, and keeping the stoke alive no matter how chilly it gets.
