So excited to share the premiere of @ihlaramcindoe 's gorgeous solo viola piece "the embrace of your lungs", beautifully recorded at @glasscloudsensemble house by @joshua_mastel . If you missed the premiere, don't despair and come hear me play it again on Nov 3 @miseenplace.newyork opening for @departureduo ! by @freyaviol
Lots of fun stuff coming up in the next few weeks! First up, PARTYSZENEN at David's Place on Oct 27 (get your tix at Eventbrite link in bio, it's a house show so you have to be on the list!). Along with the U.S. premiere of @isabellagellis and @molly.pepper.steemson collaboration PARTYSZENEN we will be playing some favorites from our forthcoming album of music by us, for us, including our own @freyaviol's "Odd Behavior." Reception to follow! by @freyaviol

For those of you who are voting this week, we'd like to humbly offer this otherworldly record for your consideration! This album collects our violist Carrie Frey's first four quartets, on sci-fi themes. We love how these four pieces capture the unique energy we have together as a quartet of composer-performers. We'd be honored if you gave it a listen! #FYC #foryourconsideration by @freyaviol
There's a lot going on this month so (partly for myself and partly for you) here it all is collected on one handy Stockholm subway wall with a cute woodpecker because we all deserve cute birds and beautiful public art. Hope to see you at one of these communal occurrences! by @freyaviol
Night practice 🌝 Posting the scary bit but also my favorite part, come hear the rest of Cassandra Miller's Daylonging, Slacktide on Saturday Oct 10 at 2pm on Governor's Island at @glasscloudsensemble house! by @freyaviol
