RHYTHM RIOT Is back for round 2! Get ready for another foggy dark room inside CHERRY at @kremwerk on August 21st, bringing four Seattle selectors together for a night of warped rhythms, hypnotic grooves, and left field club sounds. Featuring ADLX, AURIA, CLAUDIA LB, and NO IDEA, the lineup moves through genre-fluid territory — pulling from techno, house, electro, breaks, trance, and other sounds built for the dance floor. Expect a high-energy, late-night session focused on rhythm, movement, and keeping things unpredictable from 10PM–2AM. RHYTHM ROT August 21 • 10PM–2AM Cherry - @kremwerk ADLX @aneverknowsbest • AURIA @auriaamin • CLAUDIA LB @claudia.lb__ • NO IDEA @thesaddestmanever Tickets on sale very 🔜 by @fricktion_sea
ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 🔊 AURIA is stepping into the RIOT. Seattle-born DJ/producer and certified groove doctor, Auria has been quietly carving out his own lane in the underground—bringing that minimal, hypnotic, stripped-back Berlin sound to Seattle dance floors. From his FLOW STATE open-to-close parties to his first release on Octagondiscs, he’s been putting in the work and building a sound that’s made for dark rooms, foggy corners, and getting completely lost in the groove. This Friday, he joins us for RHYTHM RIOT at @kremwerk inside Cherry. Expect deep grooves, hypnotic pressure, and absolutely no reason to leave the dance floor. 8.21 • @kremwerk / CHERRY • 10PM–2AM AURIA • ADLX • CLAUDIA LB • NO IDEA Tickets are still available — link in bio. Come catch the RIOT. #fricktion #fricktionsea #seattle #kremwerk by @fricktion_sea
RHYTHM RIOT — ARTIST SPOTLIGHT For his Fricktion debut, we welcome ADLX @aneverknowsbest From the 626 to the 808, Abraham D aka ADLX brings years of LA underground energy into the Pacific Northwest. Driving techno. Heavy electro. Atmospheric frequencies. Melodies that pull you somewhere unexpected. His sound lives somewhere between sweat, pressure, euphoria, and the unknown. The kind of set where you stop checking the clock and let the room take over. “All I want to do is give people the same spaces and sounds that helped so many before come to find the energy to direct, hopefully on the dancefloor but wishfully in their lives. To be true to themselves.” ADLX @aneverknowsbest — Fricktion debut

CMD+JAZMINE — BUMP RADIO 08.14.26 We caught CMD+JAZMINE @cmdjazmine for a quick Bump Radio recording before she headed to @kremwerk to headline @plus___one___ here in Seattle. CMD+JAZMINE is the electronic music project of Jazmine (JT) Green, an audio documentarian and artist whose work explores improvisation, technology, the human body, and the intersections of gender and race through sound, performance, and visual art. Her sets bring together percussive builds, vocal samples, complex blends, and a distinctly futuristic perspective that feels both mechanical and deeply human. Jazmine is also the founder of Molten Heart, a duPont-Columbia award-winning creative and commercial studio focused on the texture of sound. Her work has been recognized by the Third Coast Festival and featured at institutions and festivals including The University of Chicago, ICU VCA, On Air, and RESONATE. Recorded live in Pioneer Square - Seattle, WA at @bump_radio . The recording is already up, go on watch/listen, because wowWoWwow! 🔥 link in bio! #bumpradioseattle #fricktion @fricktion_sea #fricktionsea #pioneersquare by @fricktion_sea
FRICKTION 08.08 Saturday with @justnanoos hit different. We went till it the sun started yelling at us to go to bed. Lol , sold out, sweaty, loud, locked in from start to finish. Big love to every performer who brought the energy, and to our tiny FRICKTION crew holding it down behind the scenes. Small team, big love 🖤 @claudia.lb__ @corobrie @wperr @n_so____ @tunz_____ @untimelychild @korrathekid @mirin_doja @ @room3631_ @aneverknowsbest And to everyone who showed up, stayed late, and filled the room , thank you for making FRICKTION what it is. If you missed out, we got you covered with a lil recap. There will be some Rhythm Riot news coming later today… stay tuned 👀 #fricktionsea #fricktion #rcfspeaker #pionner #alphatheta by @fricktion_sea
FRICKTION ARTIST SPOTLIGHT- DJ GIRLFRIENDS @korrathekid @mirin_doja ABOUT. DAMN. TIME. 😭💋 Seattle’s favorite power couple is finally pulling up to FRICKTION for their first B2B with us — and honestly… these two are HEAVEN. 🪽 DJ GIRLFRIENDS is the B2B project of Korra the Kid + Mirin Doja, bringing that filthy, bass-forward, high-energy magic across jungle, breakbeat, UK bass, hip hop + whatever else gets the room moving. These two are absolute staples of the PNW club + festival circuit, and together they throw the iconic gay girl bass party IN HEAVEN at Timbre Room. Mirin Doja has releases on Juke Bounce Werk, Delusional Records, Ommaya + more, and runs TURBO. Korra has been holding it down across the PNW for 9+ years, from The Showbox Market, Monkey Loft, Kremwerk + Process PDX to Bass Coast, Summer Meltdown and beyond. Basically… two baddies. One mixer. Zero chance of standing still. Tomorrow night we finally get our DJ GIRLFRIENDS moment. The last remaining pre sales are almost gone! ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: MIJAL @untimelychild Okayyyy our girl MIJAL is back 😈 One of our absolute @fricktion_sea favs — she’s played with us a few times now and somehow manages to get us more obsessed every time. Hypnotic techno, trancey moments, big driving grooves + a little bit of ✨what the fuck is happening✨. Her sets are emotional, sexy, weird, heavy and always moving. Argentine-Cuban, Miami born, Buenos Aires raised and Seattle based — Mijal is doing her thing through @alterlatina.mp3 + @gentle_rage_ and we’re very lucky to have her back in the Fricktion mix. If you’ve caught her before, you already know. If you haven’t… this Saturday is your problem TICKET LINK IN BIO! #seattle #seattletechno #fricktion #fricktionsea by @fricktion_sea
ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: N SO @n_so____ One of our favorite humans on this earth, and we are not being dramatic. N SO is one of Fricktion’s babes through and through, and we cannot wait to have her back on the decks Saturday. First generation Uzbek immigrant, fixture in Seattle’s underground since 2015. She moves fluid between bass, breaks, techno and club tracks, building sets that hit hard and never sit still. Part of the @data_club_net crew, holds down her residency at @kremwerk curating @plus___one___ , and has shared stages with Machinedrum, Teklife, Suzi Analogue, Uniiqu3, DJ Godfather and more. This year alone she played her first @basscoastfest and made her @process.pdx debut, and she’s bringing all of that momentum straight to us. Her alias comes from enso, the Zen concept of a circle drawn in one uninhibited motion. That’s exactly what she brings to a room. Raw, present, all pulse. We’re looking at a sold out night. Tickets still available, link in bio. Come dance with us and with her. Saturday, August 8 #fricktion #seattlenightlife #seattle #fricktionsea by @fricktion_sea
ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: TUNZ @tunz_____ Some DJs play a set. TUNZ builds a world and then tears the floor out from under it. Emerging from Seattle’s queer underground with Bay Area roots, TUNZ has spent the last stretch building a reputation most artists chase for years, a fearless blend of electro, breakbeats, and techno, deconstructed and reassembled into something that refuses to sit in one lane. This Saturday, we find out what happens when that unpredictability meets our floor. FRICKTION — August 8th — 10PM Tickets are moving. This Thursday, we’re back at Process — @process.pdx Resident Advisor named it Club of the Week in 2024. In the time since, it has become the reference point for underground dance music in Portland. A room designed around sound rather than spectacle with its four point Danley system and intimate lighting. The house has a simple philosophy: The dancefloor is for dancing. Conversations, phones, and everything else should live outside of it. Process remains the most intimate space we work in, and our favorite. For this night, FRICKTION brings three of Seattle’s own south to join our USBCHECK resident. House. Techno. Club. Electro. Sounds by USBCHECK & FRICKTION Residents N SO (SEA) — @n_so____ Claudia LB (SEA) — @claudia.lb__ Alec Fursman (SEA) — @alecfursman E G O ID (PDX) — @egoindevelopment @usbcheck @fricktion_sea DOORS @ 9PM | FREE ENTRY BEFORE 10PM Thursday, July 30 Tickets on RA or link in bio. by @fricktion_sea
NANOOS (CHI) @justnanoos is coming to Seattle for the first time, and we’re not doing this one halfway. Aug 8. Secret location. Sound system loud enough to feel in your chest, goes till the birds start chirping , no breaks — ghetto tech, bounce, club, techno, back and forth til the sun starts thinking about coming up. DJ Girlfriends @mirin_doja @korrathekid , @n_so____ , @untimelychild , @tunz_____ , and @claudia.lb__ holding down the rest of the lineup. This is the kind of night people talk about for months after. real crowd, no phones out, no bullshit tolerated, just people who came to dance. 📍 location drops day of 🎟️ tickets in bio, don’t sit on this one, tickets are moving! #fricktion #fricktionsea #seattle by @fricktion_sea
