‼️🚨 BLOSSOM COUSINS,
CODE RED IS OUT NOW‼️ 🚨
🎧 STREAMING ON ALL PLATFORMS

I initiated. I invited acquaintances into genuine connection. I cared deeply. I gave grace. I kept showing up.

Then I realized my presence was welcomed when it was convenient, without the connection ever truly being reciprocated.

So now? No revenge. No explanation. No re-entry. N O C A L L B A C K S

BXCH WHO GETs NO CALLBACKS⁉️‼️

Because I KNOW you’re gonna use this song as a subliminal message! OOP! 🤷🏽‍♀️🚨‼️

So let’s name it:

Who doesn’t consider you?
Who betrayed you?
Who disregards everything you’ve invested into the friendship?
Who doesn’t follow through?
Who only shows up when YOU orchestrate everything?
Who doesn’t celebrate you with the same intentionality you’ve consistently given them?

Yeah…ON BEHALF OF MY BLOSSOM COUSINS AND BLOSSOM BUDS, YOU GET NO CALLBACKS‼️ 📵☎️

🎶 N E W M U S I C A L E R T🎶

CODE RED (feat. Jazzgroupiez & FRIDAY) THIS FRIDAY 9.18 🚨

Choosing not to abandon your perception of someone’s patterns isn’t hypervigilance. It’s discernment.

Especially when accepting their explanation requires you to deny observable behavior, dismiss your own boundaries, or pretend contradictions aren’t contradictions.

IT’S GIVING NO CALLBACKS 🙅🏽‍♀️

To Todd of @jazzgroupiez and @friday_gc , thank you for bringing me into your artistic tribe and creating a space where I could tell the truth exactly as I felt it. What started with us coming together to make music became a place for me to turn betrayal, anger and disappointment into ART. Thank you both for the care, consideration and creative freedom you’ve shown me throughout this entire process. 💚

WE GO RED AT MIDNIGHT FRIDAY. 🚨

I got so much love for this city…

Came here in 2003 as a young naive beat maker from Beaumont trying to get closer to the artist I worked with. Lived in my car for a minute at the Walmart on Westheimer & Dunvale. Got my 1st placement playing beats at the parking lot after the club at Max’s. Received my 1st placement check at the Starbucks on Westheimer & Post Oak with about $20 to my name wondering how I was gone make it. This city ate me up mayne 😂. Thru this journey I’ve tried, failed, lost it all, made some back, quit making beats, fell deeply in love with jazz and tried again again and again…

I say this to say here I am. 20+ years later. Can’t escape creating music if my life depended on it.

Appreciate my bro @srichardjazz for believing in me enough to collaborate on a whole project. He’s one of the most patient & solid men I know personally. As a bonus he’s a phenomenal saxophonist 😀
