answering my most asked questions about ot school in my dms! 🌟

i get a TON of dms and i try my best to answer them when i can, but i also want to make it efficient! i made this post so that way people can have general questions answered & i can help answer any further questions after knowing these facts about me! if you ever ask me these questions in my dm, i will most likely refer to this post first so that way i can spend less time retyping the same answers, and more time helping with further questions!! 🌟💞 #otstudent #otschool #occupationaltherapy #occupationaltherapystudent #gradschool by @friedchickim.ot

Introducing myself 🧩

Hi everyone! I am a current OT student who loves all things: beauty, fashion, skincare, & matcha! 🧸 I’ve been posting on tiktok for the past year and decided that it’s time to post on instagram reels now too! I debated for a really long time whether or not to post on my main IG or to create a new one, but creating a new one feels like the right decision, so I can separate my personal & content life! I’m so excited to see what opportunities this page can bring & all the new friends I’ll make on here!🌟 #otstudent #occupationaltherapystudent #occupationaltherapy #otschool #otd taken in University of Texas Medical Branch by @friedchickim.ot

trying out lebanese pastries in north richland hills! ⭐️

my bf and i were in the mood to try something new and we recently saw this place on tiktok and wanted to give it a try! staff was super friendly & the pastries were decently priced. my personal favorites were the flat bread & the tripolian! i would personally skip on the cheese and parsley next time, since it wasn’t anything crazy! i’ll def be coming back to check out their other items & wanted to share to shed light on local small businesses as the seasons change!! def check them out! @arova_modernflatbread ⭐️ #dfweats #Foodie #dfwfoodie #northrichlandhills #lebanesefood taken in Arova ModernFlatbread by @friedchickim.ot

currently on week 5 of my first level II fieldwork as an OT student in the adult neuro population & i have honestly gone through every emotion in existence LOL. i’ve been doing my very best to learn & absorb everything like a sponge, but sometimes i can’t help but feel the imposter syndrome when it comes to planning treatments for my patients. at this level, i am just doing my very best & taking the extra time to fight imposter syndrome so my patient’s never feel like they’re left with a student, or that they are receiving care that’s not client-centered. so far i’ve gotten really good feedback & feel that i am in the right direction bc my patients voice that! :,) but sometimes i just can’t shake off the feeling in the back of my head! hoping this feeling gets better some day!!! ⭐️ #otstudent #otschool #occupationaltherapy #occupationaltherapystudent #student by @friedchickim.ot
