🚨 1,600 miles across Europe in the 992 GT3 Touring, and the only thing that got tired was me 🏁 Mountain passes and switchbacks? Telepathic steering, endless traction, and a flat-six singing to 9,000rpm off every rock face. Autobahn blasts? Rock solid, calm and happy to be there. Yes, it’s a big @porsche 911, but it doesn’t feel it. It’s just the wingspan of the mirrors that make it so much wider than a 991. And the @pirelli P Zero Corsa PZ4s? Superbly compliant on every surface and in every condition. Huge grip, no harshness. Fast enough for the Alps, comfortable enough for the whole continent. @9.werks 5th Anniversary road trip - Day 5 ✔️ A few laps around the Solitude Ring 🏁 The Solitude racetrack is an 11.4km (7 mile) race circuit on public roads used for motorsport in the Leonberg area, west of Stuttgart, Germany. It is named after Castle Solitude and until 1965 has hosted various motorcycle and car races. Last night was something special. ❤️ A huge thank you to @9.werks for a fantastic 5th anniversary Sondernacht, and for hosting it at such a unique venue, Freunde Luftgekühlter Boxermotoren (FLB). A “Sondernacht” is a special night: an evening for enthusiasts to gather after hours, share stories, and celebrate the passion behind the cars. Five years of 9werks deserved exactly that 👏 The guest speakers were absolutely fantastic. Hearing their stories and insights in a room full of people who live and breathe this brand was inspiring 🙌 And what a way to start the day, with a visit to the @porsche.museum alongside great Porsche pals. Good cars, good company, and good conversation. This community really is the best part of it all. The 992.1 GT3 Touring has turned the B500 into its personal playground. That naturally aspirated flat-six screams to 9,000rpm, the sledgehammer hits, and suddenly the trees are just a blur of green🌲💨 Then the corners arrive and this is where it gets silly. The steering talks the chassis talks back, every hairpin feels like the car is just grinning at you. Tactile, precise, alive. Then it settles down and cruises like a proper grand tourer. Brutal one minute, butler the next🎩 No wing. No shouting. Just the loudest whisper a @porsche has ever made. There really is no more 911 you will ever need.
