Fully captivated by AI generative film and with some practical use cases for upcoming music video shoots in mind, I decided to try my hand at creating a fully AI-generated video snippet.Set to the dark and grimey tune „Skengman“ by @therealghetts and @stormzy , I aimed to evoke a bleak, pessimistic, and aggressive mood, inspired by *La Haine* and I’m still fascinated by the cinematic quality of the images I got from MidJourney. I learned a lot during this project… having definite images in my mind and then MidJourney driving me crazy trying to generate those exact pictures. In my next post, I’ll share some of the most ridiculous AI fails during this project and some images I just couldn’t generate because I couldn’t find the right prompts. The next project I guess I’ll try to approach more open minded, with fewer fixed images, and let the AI models surprise me. Immersed in the infinite possibilities, I am attracted by the incredibly realistic image quality of AI generating tools. The anticipation is overwhelming; I can’t wait to get started! However, understanding all of the possible consequences appears overwhelming. Nonetheless, for me, this technology provides limitless opportunities to transform my ideas into still photos, with moving images shortly to come. However, going through multiple constraints indicates that getting the required results is not as simple as expected. Currently, I’m experimenting with different film stocks, lighting approaches, and styles to improve my ability to explain exactly what I want.In my initial photo series, I put the new character consistency tool in mid journey to the test. I’m genuinely impressed by its ease of use.
