No hurry. No noise. No expectations.

Just faith, love, and a loyal companion waiting for his person.

Perhaps peace was never meant to be found somewhere far away.

Some mornings, nature quietly reminds us that we are not the only ones who call this land home. 🌿🦚

Two peacocks, completely unbothered by the world, simply playing.

Perhaps this is what a piece of land should become not just a place we use or cultivate, but a space where life feels safe enough to return, stay, and belong.

We may own land on paper.
In reality, we are only its custodians.

And when nature chooses to make itself at home, that feels like a blessing. 🌱💚

I see things before they exist.

It’s a gift and a nuisance, mostly for the people who then have to build them. 🪵

This one was simple to describe and almost impossible to do.

One vengai tree. One board. No joints.

Not because there’s anything wrong with joining two pieces of wood. I just wanted to know if this tree could remain one piece; from trunk to door.

So ten men stood around this machine for hours, mostly not touching it.

From the outside, it looked like hesitation.

It wasn’t.

It was forty years of experience quietly re-examining itself.

Every objection was true most of the time.

Don’t rip vengai that wide.
Cut it down first.
Wood that thick will move on you.

These aren’t superstitions.

They’re scar tissue.

By hour two, nobody’s seniority mattered anymore.

Only whether the idea worked.

And when that massive slab finally came off the carriage clean, nobody cheered.

They just walked up…

and put their hands on it.

I think that said everything.

I brought the dream.
They brought everything else.

One tree. One slab.
For the farm. 🌳

This morning, while chatting with my daughter Sam, she suddenly said,

“Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.”

I asked her what made her bring that up.

She smiled and said, “I like this law.”

That simple statement stayed with me.

I immediately thought back to my own school days. I had memorized Newton’s Third Law countless times. I could reproduce it in an exam, but I never truly understood it. Like many of us, learning often meant remembering rather than discovering. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, it was simply how education worked for many of us.

Watching Sam, I realized something different is happening.

She isn’t learning the law because she has to remember it. She’s enjoying the process of understanding it. The curiosity comes first, and the concept follows.

I believe this is one of the beautiful aspects of the Krishnamurti Foundation India’s approach to education. Children are encouraged not merely to collect information, but to observe, question, explore, and understand for themselves. Knowledge becomes meaningful because it is discovered, not just delivered.

As a parent, that’s a joy to witness.

Perhaps the greatest gift education can give a child isn’t the right answer, it’s a mind that genuinely loves to inquire.

Thank you, Sam, for reminding me that learning becomes magical when curiosity leads the way.
