✔️ What are your musical influences?
I’m not even sure whether dancing and going to parties aren’t the bigger influences, to be honest. Sure, I discovered punk at 15, drum and bass at 16, French electro at 18, and so on. But somehow the more important thing was always that moment when you’re standing on a dancefloor, the sound fits the setting, the venue, the sound system and the lights are all just right. At that point you can basically play me any electronic music and I’ll love it. I was shaped by the small parties in the middle of forests, the Q1 in Bergisch Gladbach, Gebäude 9, Roxy (RIP) and Bootshaus (lol) in Cologne, as well as Pusdorf Studios (RIP) and IRGENDWO in Bremen. Beyond that, labels and artists like Kompakt, Amselcom, Laut & Luise, Ton Steine Scherben, The Green Man (TGM), David Hasert, Acud and Judith Ahrends.
✔️ What do you think makes a good after-hours party?
The right people! Beyond that, I really love it when there’s still enough energy in the room that people keep moving for a while longer. And it shouldn’t have been the last one just a week ago – otherwise it quickly starts to feel a bit sleazy to me.
✔️ What thoughts would you like to share with us about your mix?
I just play other people’s music and there are some goldies of my past in this I wanted to hear loud. The recording glitches briefly in the middle, but I honestly think it’s nonsense to do a re-recording just because of that. :) by @friendly_connections](https://scontent-atl3-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/671254236_18430455829137682_1327483947456286782_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=100&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiRkVFRC5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=iUTNr62yqTEQ7kNvwGTNEgR&_nc_oc=AdpfL5po9GjDouHY31QDraV58RgcHX0LA6AYUF77C7ppsHtU5md1MJ86xSNJ6BA1p90ypX6aMo97S9flXy1LqlrE&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-atl3-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=8C-p7-7zstELwQqICtTxbA&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQRYIUcPHe-liLoB5_Tqe9rur4NHtL_PqIRRYIan7voG2A&oe=6AF071B7)
